I'm sorry I was not with you. I love you.

Augusta @augustaart.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Thank you for being the best friend a person could wish for. With your beautiful smile and kindness, you were the friend that I needed.

And I wish I could show you my town. Take the car and drive on the highway to the beautiful cities.

Augusta @augustaart.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

But I will come. I promised I would visit you. And I will go to the beach you wanted to show and go to the cafe we enjoyed so much.

Younger than me and already gone. I fear the day I will walk the streets, we went together to enjoy the evening. I fear the day I will come to your hometown and see your grave.

I think i just had the worst work weeks like ever? Constant stress & giving lessons cause the teachers got ill. I came home and just slept and repeated it. But yeah.. It was birthday this week? Now, with my 30 years, I got old 🤣 And my present for myself: Gonna draw! I got stuff to do!

20 years ago we were suing teenagers for millions of dollars because they were torrenting a single Metallica album and now billionaires are demanding the free right to every work in history, so that they can re-sell it. The law only ever serves capital.

with blocking and curating as much as you can. And yeah.. I did grow there faster than everywhere else. But I really don't want that much drama in my life.

So Threads opened up for Europe, and I have an acc there. After some days, my result? Yeah, no for me. I won't focus on Threads as much as bsky. 'cause I can already see so much toxicity in there. First, it was amazing. Just art and artist. It is sad to see how fast the page changes, even (1/2)

⭐Elder Shark The old sage of the astral observatory is one of the last survivors of our ancient golden age. Even stigmatized by the plague of tears, she is dedicated to sharing more than two centuries of stories to inspire our little children. #Art

Inside her stained-glass celestial observatory, an elderly great shark shows an ancient magic book to two curious child sharks, the book projects an image of a planetarium. The elder woman is stigmatized by something called the "Plague of Tears", in which her eyes are blinded and her tears are crystallized, projecting like jewels into her eyes.

The "Plague of Tears" is a fantasy imagination of the parasite that blinds and hangs in the eyes of Greenland sharks throughout their lives.

I agree with this, but feel it’s worth emphasising that quoting or screenshotting their posts in order to mock them still counts as interaction. When you do that, you’re still boosting their reach, which is what they want.

I just saw how the effort to work in a specific style slowly came together and evolved. I still have a long way to go until I'm satisfied and want to work on my book. But this was a milestone for me (2/2)

Forgot to post my #artvsartist squares from yesterday...featuring a self-portrait instead of a photo because I'm like that

a series of watercolor and gouache paintings arranged in a square: a magical piece of giant wolves, a glowy fox sitting in front of an old tree, two mice sitting with dandelions amid blackberry brambles, a tiger handing a jar of tea to a rabbit, a self portrait of the artist (she's a nerdy goober), a bear sitting with a cup of tea beneath a tree, a coyote holding a zither in a mossy forest, a white wolf sitting in the snow, and two kids holding hands

From 2016, another piece featuring my favourite 'thing under tree' motif, 'White Hart.' Ink, 85 x 125 mm. Trivia: the stag here combines features of both the red and fallow deer to suggest a mythological creature rather than a real animal. #ArtAdventCalendar
