I live in New Mexico and the International Balloon Fiesta is my fav time of the year! This particular balloon tends to visit us every year, we even got to wave to them!

Last October I was working on a Werewolf Bakugou and Wizard Deku AU. Though I didn't end up continuing with the idea, I still really love this concept 😂 Deku is a little slow on the uptake but thankfully Werewold Bakugou can't keep his cool #bkdk #mha #bnha

As always here's the art on its own! I really wanted a more rustic feel for this month since I cannot go to said pumpkin patch this year. The Deku swap was also a lot of fun. I am kind of proud I kept some nuance of his hair shapes, even though he's pretending to be Bakugou #mha #bnha

October Treats are here! 🎃 I have this pumpkin patch that has all kinds of fun attractions, so I wanted to draw Deku, Bakugou, and the others enjoying a visit! Of course Tomura sneaks in. And would it be Halloween month without Deku costume swapping with Bakugou? 😍 #mha #bnha #myheroacademia

*sees video of a greenland shark* Me: that's AI, that "Greenland shark" doesn't have the copepod eye parasite that 99% of greenland sharks have *checks comments* "The shark doesn't have gills, this is AI" Me: 🧍‍♂️... right... it also doesn't have the very obvious thing sharks need. T-totally noticed

"FOOD" (1/1) [bkdkmerau] Deku realizes what with five new mer, eight total now at his sanctuary, he's going to be WAY over his grant budget! Thankfully Kirishima seal and Shoto shrimp seem willing to help! Bakugou mer on the other hand... 😅 #bkdk #mha #bnha #myheroacademia

I love how September treats turned out. The BKDK wyrms ramen bowl is bigger than I thought it would be and the MHA foods I designed to be on the smaller cuter side! Only a couple more days to lock these in! 😍 #mha #bnha #patreon #bkdk

I look around the world, the ecosystem, and I think of all the diversity and queerness, like the fungus with 23,000 sexes, the mysterious eel, colorful birds finding particular courtships And you just know humans were NEVER meant to thrive in a binary

More Bkdk Wyrms finally! Shoto does some research on his suspicions, and discovers the truth about Deku and Bakugou wyrm. But while they fooled him, he knows they could be in danger here! 😱 #mha #bnha #bkdk #myheroacademia

Love this 😂 In game dev, putting treasure behind a waterfall tells the player that there are hidden things in the game - if there aren't hidden things, then they don't! Similar mechanics like "Pet the Dog" as well. Artists and writers can think about this too! Clichés CAN be used effectively! 🤫

I often see a lot of fandom criticism of "why don't you just make your own stuff" especially in regards to AUs. 1. Fan works are excellent practice, you get a ton of real time feedback 2. I do work on my own stuff. Don't let anyone convince you it's a waste of time!

I know Hori gets insane credit for this already but I just want to extend that because drawing comics with 4+ characters in them is extremely hard. It is so exhausting! Takes hundreds, thousands of hours to get comfortable with that.

Some of you may know this, but the bkdk raptors were inspired by the eagles Jackie and Shadow. I've been watching their nest for about 4 years now. Jackie, the female, recently got very sick, was rescued, but she passed away early this morning. My heart cries out.

Grow your brain through the Input, Consolidation, and Output cycle. Take in Input, give it time to Consolidate, and then turn it into Output. Example: Study trees > imagine trees, reflect on how important trees are > draw trees, write about trees, plant trees. Repeat the cycle to reinforce it.
