I hate the question ‘How are you?’ I never know if it’s a genuine question, or a generic greeting. If you respond as if it’s a genuine question, it can be so awkward if it was meant as a polite greeting. How do NT’s know?! 🙄

I’m only just beginning to understand the relationship between my monotropism & mental health. It’s difficult not to be anxious in a world where we are expected to shift from task to task with ease, and where there’s not time to do a task as well as we could if we had time to reach flow state.
