I can't lie. I used to really be into making terrain and minis for DnD 5e and Cyberpunk Red. But this Captain with Jump Pack, and the Jump Pack Intercessors I'm prepping are literally the first Warhammer minis I have ever done. I fear I am going overboard.

A primered warhammer figurine atop a tiny scale model of a "seokdeung" (Korean stone lantern) without a head and a custom sculpted shield. The seokdeung is held in place on the mini figure's base with modeling epoxy. The epoxy clay also partially hides wires on the right and the case of a toggle switch on the left edge of the base. There are bits of pink insulation foam and aluminum foil visible behind the clay pile where the battery housing is.

I don't understand how people can find any enjoyment in Warhammer. I have wasted 30 hours this week customizing, magnetizing, and prepping these things to paint. I can't wait to do the next 14 boxes I've got in my pile.

The size of the shield is approximately the size of 100 Korean Won coin, which is the same size as a Canadian or United States quarter.

People seem real hype about the TMNT prerelease stuff, but I'm too bummed to go. My favorite judge isn't at my LGS any more cuz the US doesn't want her to continue in the Army. So she's forced to be back stateside, where they don't want her either. The way they ignore her absence is so loud, too.

Looking at other decks on Moxfield is pretty helpful to me at the very beginning and end of the build process. I like to see what synergies/combos are getting used for intial inspo. And then doing a list comparison is nice after I finish a list. To check for too much sameness or missed new tech.

Every day, I am less inclined to wake up and go to work. I am so far down the chain of command that my job isn't in danger of a purge, and I have little to no impact on anything. But it's so depressing and disheartening to be a federal employee. It's like being a low-level henchman for a villain.

Had to do an interview for my worker's comp claim. They asked me to make a drawing of where it happened.

A masterful drawing from a bird's-eye perspective of my tumble upon the black ice in the loading bay behind my kitchen. My footsteps, dark divots in the snow, leading to where I lay on my back, sprawled painfully upon the treacherous ice where my footing was lost. The snow piled around on the lawn, the asphalt bare, save for the patch of ice where my broken body lays.

It's pretty good. But it is pretty main quest-driven. The stuff you can do on the side is fun, though. And some of the DLCs give you more options to do stuff. But the story is worth it, imo. And the world is pretty immersive. I am impatiently waiting to pour another 300 hours into the sequel.

Being sick in Korea. Pros: Preportioned medicine in little gogurt tubes. Satchets of pills with convenient labels. A dazzling and colorful array of antibiotics and analgesics. Cons: I have to taste every molcule of cough syrup drag itself across my tongue. It's cheap as heck because of SoCiaLIsM.
