One last spooky game for the season! Exit 8 by @kotakecreate.bsky.social really gets that obsessive, nit-picky part of your brain going and when you miss an anomaly, the feeling of not being able to trust your senses and of despair of starting from scratch. Really enjoyed playing it.

Played Norco by @geographyofrobots.bsky.social for @pixelexplorersclub.bsky.social Game Club. It was an interesting and layered experience. I had seen it be recommended as a similar vibe to KRZ and yep, they are "of the same cloth" Happy to finally play it, It had some scenes I really loved.

Played Pools by @tensori.fi It promises pools and it delivers pools, so many pools 🏊‍♂️ I was captivated by the game and had a eerie yet peaceful time navigating the sprawling spaces of the game. Would definitely take another plunge If I ever get a VR machine.

I played Carimara developed by @bastinusrex.bsky.social. It's perfect for the season, a bite-sized spooky game that oozes creepiness and delivers a dark fairytale-esque world in spades. I would buy it again just for the visual style; it has a low poly yet textured look that I love.

Finished Fear the Spotlight by @cozygamepals.bsky.social It was a great bite sized game, it kept things moving and tension high. I was so invested 😅 While playing I kept thinking, this would be the perfect game to introduce a couple of nieces to horror games. It is a modern Goosebumps 🧟

Played Pocket Boss by @playables.net. I've kept an eye out for this game since its announcement. It mixes two things that are part of my "day to day", games and data viz. It's was a bite-sized enjoyable experience. I'd say, play it on your phone for the best experience. Its well worth a try.

Began the spooky season with Crow Country by @sfbdim.bsky.social. A love letter to the PS1 era of horror-survival but also so much more. I love its low-poly style, it has so much personality. What really ties everything together is the story's ending and reveal, the game goes from good to great.

Played Echoes of the Emergent by @rngparty.bsky.social. It was more visual novel than game. It was fun though and it made me realize the Playdate is a great device for reading. The story is catchy and the art for the scenes was very well done. It was the perfect fit for a 2-hr train ride.

What The Crow!? for Playdate is nice, I've been playing on and off for a couple of weeks now and its always fun to jump in, cause some havoc for a couple of minutes and then peace out. Opening the second level without invincible mode on seems impossible though hehe

Finished Citizen Sleeper by @jumpovertheage.com for @pixelexplorersclub.bsky.social game club The music and the art style really brought the setting to life. The story caught me, I liked making my mark on the Eye, deciding its future. Looking forward to playing the second one in the future.

Got to room 46 in Blue Prince by @dogubomb.bsky.social! This game is extremely hard to put down. I've enjoyed going through the Holly state again and again and again. Each time seeing it differently and discovering new secrets. I've really enjoyed playing the game, one of my favorites this year

Finished Herdling by @okomotive.ch I had fun leading my herd of beasties around and decorating them like little Christmas trees. The game uses the connection you build very effectively... There are some moments, when you stampede with your herd that hit just right. Everything falls into place.

Finished "and Roger" by TearyHand Studio was a short and effective game. It make me shed a couple of tears by the time the credits were rolling. It has beautiful music and the puzzles are engaging while grounding you in the story and the way the main character experiences life.

Many Nights a Whisper, by @deconstructeam.bsky.social, was a treat to play. A short game that explores performance anxiety, dealing with high expectations and asks you what wishes should be fulfilled. It has a beautiful art style and the music is amazing. It's definitely a must play.

Time Flies by @playables.net was a treat. I've been waiting forever. It was fun marking things off my list while buzzing around. The game "silly" look pairs well with its more evocative elements, like the constant deaths or the fact that your time alive is tied to where you are born IRL.

This game can also be quite challenging, especially if you are aiming at getting all of the collectibles hidden around the levels. I did my best, but there were a couple that kicked my ass. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this game. Really looking forward to whatever this team does next.

Just finished Neva, developed by @nomada.studio, for @pixelexplorersclub.bsky.social game club. I think it's one of the most visually beautiful games I've ever played. I really liked how the story was complemented by the game mechanics you had access to. Also, you can pet the dog - that's 100/10 😤🔥

Week 8 on Blippo+ and oh, boy - this was quite a week - revelations about Mike Zero and the actions at the observatory. What is going to happen?! While all of this happens, TV keeps going on. Clone Trois is still great. Also...someone should just free Blinker at this point.

Week 7, felt like it was all about rising tensions. It was there during the State of the State interview and Ned growing controversies, in the reaction of the cast in the Boredome, Blinker bargaining ... Even Clone Trois was all about tension, as other staff wonders "What is she capable of?"

15. I've finished Death Stranding and honestly that feels like an accomplishments after mostly playing <10 hours games. I had a couple of moments in Chapter 3 or 4 that almost made me quit the game but overall it is a really relaxing game in its own sort of way but its 100% worth pushing through...

Week 6 felt a bit slow in Blippo+. Even Clone Trois felt filler-ly - although I'm here for the "outside the show" dating drama with Mike Zero 😅 This week, Channel 72 was not ALL locked, don't know if I missed it before but it was a nice surprise. Sad to see Channel 00 dropped though 👎

Black Hole Havoc by @cosmicbrosgames.bsky.social was a ride. The little animations reminded me of the stick fights of the early internet, they are filled with references. The puzzles were also a great mix of skill and brain power. After playing I can also confirm, I hate space tourists 🙅

Chance's Lucky Escape by @juliaminamata.bsky.social and @golosogames.bsky.social was very fun to play. It keeps its puzzles tight, its graphics stunning, the story flowing, and the music vibing - i love the jazzy vibes it has. Its also a great way to test if everything in your Playdate is working 😅
