FINAL DAY of the #Luciversary2025 Comment Fest!!! Which means it's time to take it back to the beginning 😄 Today's prompt is: #Luciferfanfiction posted or last updated in 2016 😈 And I've got a couple tips for how you can find those quickly 👇

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Day 6 of #Luciversary2025 Comment Fest is a fun one! Read and comment on fic for a relationship tag you don't usually read 👀 Can be a platonic/familial relationship (& tags) OR a romantic/sexual relationship (/ tags)! Regularly read all kinds of fic already? Pick your least read or a crossover tag

But how are you supposed to do that??? 😭 Well -- idk 🤷‍♀️ When I'm on a fic binge, I don't track the authors. BUT there is still an AO3 search that could help you out 👇 #LuciferNetflix

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! 🎉 2024 was a wild year 😬 Mostly bad for me, but fic-writing went pretty well at least! Shockingly so. I'll have a recap in a few days when I'm off holiday, but in the meantime, here are my writing goals for 2025:

2130

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

Ahahaha! I managed to write all of my December holiday fics on time! 😁 Here's my #Luciferfanfiction for New Year's Eve! It is not the romantic, getting together fic I intended to write. 😶 In fact, it goes in an angsty direction. Whoops! archiveofourown.org/works/61783525

1194

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

Ope! 👀 I've got a NYE fic dropping in a few hours because I'm leaving first thing in the morning to visit my family for a late Christmas. So if it's rambling or clunky, it's because I only had time for a quick proofread. There's going to be *very* little editing 😬 It's 6k words long tho if you care

190

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 27/12/2024

Aw, thank you so much! 🥹 I really appreciate the rec 💗

Does anyone want some Deckerstar family humor/slice of life to round off their mid-week holidays? It primarily features Trixie and Lucifer and incessant pestering. 😊 lol #Luciferfanfiction archiveofourown.org/works/61661554

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

It's Christmas EVE!!!!! And I finally wrote my first Eve fic to celebrate 😁 ... with melancholy post-S4 introspection 🤣 But hey! Melancholy during the winter/winter holidays is also very on theme! :P Hope you enjoy! #Luciferfanfiction archiveofourown.org/works/61611487

1175

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

I've got 4 other fics I'm supposed to be working on (one of which is supposed to be posted in 2 days 😬) AND YET! I can't stop thinking about this one. If they meet bc Chloe asks for a favor, then that creates a juicy power imbalance they have to overcome. Her guard will be up even higher at first.

130

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 20/12/2024

LIKE THIS ONE!! I am never going to write this one! But also it tickles my brain too much so it's getting saved too 😜

000

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 20/12/2024

This account is dangerous because it's making me save prompts that I'm never going to write -- but this one is screaming for a time loop within a time loop so I *HAVE* to keep it around just in case, ya know? :P

230

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

👀 Oh this is long fic material which I do not have the bandwidth for right now, but it is definitely going on my list. Maybe it'll be next year's Lucitober project....

170

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

My 93rd fic on AO3 and the first of two canon-compliant future fics I have planned this month! This one is the angstiest and I make no apologies for that :P #Luciferfanfiction Witnessing (615 words) - bb Rory gets her wings archiveofourown.org/works/61224016

Posting for accountability purposes because I have an ambitious goal to hit 100 fics on AO3 by end of January (I have 91 currently) -- Here's a list of #Luciferfanfiction I'm working on: > canon-compliant angsty future ficlet > canon-compliant humorous future ficlet w/ angsty aftertaste

Again for the morning crowd: if you're a fic writer who wants to improve your skills, seek out a beta reader or writing advice. I recommend K.M. Weiland as a starting place. For the rest of us, fic is for funsies and to share our obsessive feelings about our blorbos so please share in that w/ us

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

For the love of Pete people 😩 UNSOLICITED constructive criticism is never welcomed. (don't tell the author how they *should've* written a fic) OUTRIGHT CRITICISM is also never welcomed!!! (don't bitch about the quality of the fic!!)

Me: burned out and shoving plot points together because I needed this fic to be done like 6 months ago. Also me: Hey, what if I add like three more scenes to Ch 23 to flesh it out?

Does anyone read fics on Sunday night? Because I finally posted a new chapter of Can We Keep Her? 😊 #Luciferfanfiction archiveofourown.org/works/471364...

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Trying to edit this Can We Keep Her chapter on what is either a dry throat or the beginning of a cold 😩 But I'm 1/5 of the way through it! 1100/5500 words complete!

180

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Everybody be proud of me, please. Did I finish my next chapter of my WIP? No. But I *DID* finish reading all the Lucitober fics while it was still November. 😊 It only took me an entire extra month to read the final week's worth of fics! Go me! 💪🤣

180

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

The beheading of my manuscript has been canceled! 🎉 The 300 words that nearly bled me dry last night has turned into an additional 700 words today that are flowing fairly smoothly. Conclusion: I should REALLY not try to write when I had to go into the office for work that day 😂 😬

160

AtTheAltarOfEve (amtrak12) @atthealtarofeve.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

So.... no one *actually* cares about Can We Keep Her, right? I can just walk away to play with other fics now? ... Right? ...Please??

There is no litmus test for fandom. There is no requirement to participate in fandom. You don't have to analyze the themes or justify character choices. You don't have to ship. You don't have to draw or write or even read fanworks. You like something? You're a fan? Amazing, welcome to the fandom.

Oooo! With the next Can We Keep Her chapter, I will officially surpass my 2023 published word count! I posted 92,498 words last year and I'm at 91,414 for this year. Just 1k off! \0/

Just another reminder to all you #Luciferfanfiction readers that AO3 comments are not a public forum for you to vent your complaints about a character or a trend you claim 'the entire fandom does'. You're a guest in the author's house when you read their fic. Please behave yourself accordingly 🫶

No promises yet, but I *should* have the next Can We Keep Her chapter up by Thanksgiving (Nov 28 for those not in the US). I finally got the initial Maze scene ironed out to something I'm happy with so I can move on to the more fun scenes to write 😄 #Luciferfanfiction
