attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Music is SO important! I have so many happy memories and friends because of it. 000
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 26/09/2026At a place I used to freelance at, a guy showed up to an interview with a friend. The interviewer was surprised, but allowed it. The friend would basically holler “tell em’ Steve” and other such words of encouragement throughout the interview 🤣 120
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Did they tell you at length about cousin MeowMeow who didn’t eat for 30 minutes and he nearly DIED? Mine do 🤣 030
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 20/09/2026One thing it’s been really handy for is weird upgrade errors. Had one site where the migrations for the upgrade just failed. It managed to track down six pages with slightly mangled block list data that worked ok on 13, but the migrations to 17 died when they hit it. 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Good write up. The main things I’ve found is occasionally it will just skip features when you ask it to migrate something, and you have to go back and tell it to add it back in, and the plausible but wrong thing. 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 18/09/2026It started off like an overlong episode and then got gradually more fun. Overall I liked it and had fun! 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Would hard agree, observing the medium sized human and her pals, they’re a very caring, kind bunch. Much more so than wehen I was their age. 000
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 18/09/2026My other half didn’t believe cats love cheese, even after I pointed out there was a whole cartoon series about it (Samurai Pizza Cats) 🤣 she gave the cat a bit of cheese and spent the rest of that cats life defending any cheese based food from a very determined kitty! 020
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Our first cat once swiped a slice of pizza from a friends mouth, as he was eating it 🤣 she then sat under the table and growled like a dog at anyone who even LOOKED, like they were going to try and take her prize off her. The look of confusion on said friends face was priceless! 020
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Great article! Very useful package too. You’re on fire with the blog posts at the moment dude. 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I grew up near there. It’s two main claims to fame were the music festival and an alleyway that legendarily smells of piss. I believe smelly alley is still a thing from talking to some friends at Infest who live there 🤣 001
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Go forth and be weird, and enthusiastic , and wonderful. And above all, be kind. Strive to leave the world a slightly better place than you found it. Thanks for listening, this has been my Ted talk 🤣 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Take it from me, don’t wait until you find out you’ve run out of tomorrows, do that thing, NOW. Go all in on your weird hobbies and interests, learn that thing you’ve always wanted to, tell your friends you love them, travel to that place you’ve always been obsessed with! 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026So while I’ll be celebrating my 50th surrounded by friends and loved ones, you’d better believe I’ll be raising a drink to all the friends I lost along the way. And I’ll carry on living my life and doing crazy stuff, because life is for living. 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026In the intervening 20 years, I’ve lost a LOT of friends and family to the big C. And EVERY time it happens, I feel AWFUL. Why did my awesome, witty pal have to succumb, when plain old me survived? Survivors guilt is fucking AWFUL, and I don’t think it’s talked about enough. 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026My 10 year survival odds at diagnosis were something like 40%, possibly slightly less, as I had all of the worst prognostic indicators for my type of cancer. So I’ve comfortably beaten those odds. But it’s always a slightly odd feeling. 110
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Blimey. I’ve ALMOST made it to 50. If I can hang on for a couple more weeks, I’ll have made it. This might not seem like much, but back when I was 29, I was diagnosed with stage IVB Cancer, and I genuinely didn’t know if I was going to make 30, let alone the ripe old age of a half century. 220

attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 04/09/2026His role is actually a great “acceptance for who you are” type role, which is impressive, as the film as a whole is quite gonzo and lowbrow 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 04/09/2026It’s a proper great cult film. One of Keanu’s finest (uncredited) roles 😂 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 04/09/2026 Best part, was a friend who’s a pretty senior civil servant, laughed hollowly, downed his drink, and said “can confirm, that shit would NEVER happen” 😂 010

attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Yup, a lot of their stuff is much less sturdy as the older models. I do quite like my sit stand desk though. But I’ve got one of the mega sturdy older ones which have been replaced by flimsier newer models! 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I did that with a load of my old coding books from early in my career 😂 still need about another five or six clearouts though. Made worse by the not so smöll child who is as hoardery as her parents. 010
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Yesterday was one of the highlights of the year, the fifth annual vibrator decorating championships, and the theme was traditional arts and crafts. The standard of the entries was, as always, crazy high. I love my friends 😃 030
attackmonkey.bsky.social @attackmonkey.bsky.social · 29/08/2026They shut the cinema in my local town, the next nearest one was Basingstoke, as one of the first of my friends to learn to drive, folks would pay me petrol money and my ticket to take them to the cinema! There are several films I’ve seen five or six times at the cinema 😂 000
