Oh it was months ago we talked about it back then!

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

That dude who predicted gambit and rogue’s roles and said he’d seen Jubes and devil dino slated for this year…well Dino got revealed today for season 8 so 👀

I think I ordered a size too big. Of course I tried it on for the first time ten minutes before leaving the house.

At a hotel for a wedding. These “relaxed fit” trousers make me look like I’m wearing a clown suit 🤣😬

Yeah they were great! What’s new?

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

It’s taken so long since Disney bought 20th Century Fox. But X-Men ‘97 is probably already better than any live action adaptation could ever be

I got the DVD box set years ago but I don’t think I actually ever watched it all the way through! There’s a lot of episodes and as with many 80’s cartoons the quality is very hot and miss between episodes. The “Movie” is peak though

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

What’s interesting is the VHS “movie” was a UK exclusive compilation of slightly shortened versions of the first five episodes of season 2. I never saw season 2 in the 80’s (not sure if / where it aired in the UK!) and the only way to see it now is in the episodic form

It’s gone midnight and I’m casually watching Thundercats Ho!:The Movie. It’s got to be my ultimate nostalgia comfort movie. I must have watched the VHS dozens of times when I was a kid in the 80’s!

Tbf it was quite late in life to be pretending you like women

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

I can empathise with the ass issues these days 🤪 fkkn irritable bowel. Why does marriage suck :0

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

Safe to say it was enjoyed by all!

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

I am only 5’8 tbf but just the fact she’s suddenly a 5’ something 11 year old! How’s life in Susan World?

My first time seeing you guys live. Loved it! Could’ve done with less phones in the air filming everything and blocking the view, though 🫣

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

What is this? :0 glad to see you are doing good!

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

In scary London to see Pet Shop Boys #Obscure. First time seeing them live!

First evening social of the year. Very civilised by our standards!

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Cutey, I would NEVER! You were genuinely one of a handful of people who made me HESITATE deactivating. Fortunate Bluesky saved the day

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Oh yes I know who you mean I remember seeing his posts about the hospital on X 😰

You’ll have to forgive me I don’t recall who Martin is 🫣 but a heart failure DAMN is he doing okay now?

100

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Anything exciting going on in your life? It’s been a while!

100

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Yeah FB is dangerous 😅 I mostly use it for action figure groups. I’ve had to leave most of the Marvel Rivals groups on there because again it’s just constant negativity, complaining and self-importance

110

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

And just the general addictive nature of constant buzz and conversation and speculation about points of interest had me in really unhealthy habits. Constantly checking it. In the middle of shows or movies. During play time with the niblings. Enough was enough. What happened with your friend?

110

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

I have such little self control and righteous fury that I’d always find myself squabbling with people in the comment section of any post. From games to shows to reality just bigots and idiots and…nastiness. So the things I enjoy became infused with all this negative energy

110

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Well I finally deactivated my account and deleted that soul-sucking OTHER app. This year is all about kicking bad habits and prioritising things that bring me joy. I might start popping up here more often now but less social media in general is the way forward

No frikkin’ way! The very first Chikorita I picked was a girl! And the exact same thing happened way back when I first played the original Gold/Silver all those years ago…what are the odds?! #PokemonZA #PokemonLegendsZA

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

We definitely see TOO much of it in the X-Men franchise, though. Almost every adaptation has leaned into that side of things and the comics have been largely only that for a long while now

010

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

Guess he’s not in it much :/

000

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

Literally smashes up his newly built house and he just says “oh well” 😭 Mind you what’s he gonna do against that chunky monkey 😂

010

Brett X @atomicjubilation.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

I love how in #DonkeyKongBananza no-one gets angry when you smash their shit up. Poor little monkey is living his best life fishing for bananas and DK comes along and pulverises his boat and he’s just like “…swimming is fine too, I guess.” 😂
