JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 7hHello, I’m John and I’m a Pop junkie. This certainly fits the bill for wonderfully crafted perfect pop tunes. As if bubble gum music figured out we were all becoming teenagers decided to grow up a bit. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 7hShe really is a treat to watch, especially at the basket. Just nonstop hardcore. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 15hJust very nicely proportioned. Majority of folks don’t need a full size bed and this somehow maintains what we love about the Mustang. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 17hThe older the ‘70s Nova gets the more I appreciate the styling. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Can’t think of a better team to have running one’s race program. Personally I’ve always had a great appreciation for Wright but they’re a little far from the home office. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026If I woke up to this standing over my bed at 4am I would absolutely soil the sheets. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Reading this and hearing that bass line in my head the entire time. You are truly a blessing sir. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Listening Wind is both beautiful and disturbing at the same time. Creates such a unique listening. Hard to pick a favorite song. 020
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Monumental album from Talking Heads. Released right on the heels of Fear Of Music, this period of work with the heavy influence of Brian Eno is just outstanding. This tour featured a lot of Fear Of Music, Adrian Belew and Bernie Worrel and was the greatest live show I ever attended. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Could he please take Hulkenburg with him? 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I’ve been listening to the Daft Punk Discovery album on repeat the last couple of days and that album is very under appreciated. Also have Kronos Quartet on the soundtrack for Darren Aronofsky’s Fountain and it’s sublime, I’ll need to have a listen to their take on Philip Glass. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Great album with a very selective fan base. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Yeah, I was told this and we’d be moving to the metric system circa 1969 while a youngster in elementary school. Bicycle racing finally taught me the metric system. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I only knew one person other than myself who had this fantastic Jack Green album, and now I know two. Obscure but excellent. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Unclear or terrified of being honest about who they are? Current climate not conducive to freedom of expression or speech. We are to the point of torches and pitchforks. 020
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026A very soothing tune on an outstanding album. I play this album constantly still and it hasn’t lost any of its original appeal. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The theories of what make guitars sound exceptional are many, zebra humbuckers and which half belongs in which direction, bumble bee caps, covers on or off, honestly it is a bit over the top. What’s repeatable? A really good player with good touch can pick up most any guitar and make it sing. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026He certainly knew how big the 500 was, how the decision to leverage that got made, who knows. Again, these are all questions only Robin Miller could completely answer and unfortunately he never wrote that book. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026This is a very succinct assessment of the race series and the US at that time. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Tony pounding the table about American oval track racing was just one of the many excuses he came up with for the stupid shit he did. Prior to the split the series was loaded with world class race teams and engineers. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026No, we dont want him back. Go play golf. Hire a driver. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026At some point they could have spread themselves too thin. Consider that Nigel Mansell wins the F1 drivers title then walks away to get in a Newman Haas ride. You had to be part of it. Folks can write all they want, unfortunately the only one who could have told the complete story is Robin Miller. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Why? The did great business with the international races. That could have just as easily expanded into tracks that balked at paying F1s huge appearance fees. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026At the time it happened there is no one who felt this way. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026This is the frustrating part, there was no WHY, just a little man that felt he wasn’t being properly respected so a million half-assed reasons for why get theorized. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Don’t even think for one minute that the shite we currently have comes close to the level of competition during the heyday of CART. Great drivers up and down the field, bigger than NASCAR and serious competition for F1. Written words will never do justice to the turmoil and frustration. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Because Tony got put in a position to make decisions by the family. Didn’t know shit. About anything. Got all bent and said he was taking his ball and going home. Ruined American Open Wheel to a level that it still hasn’t recovered from. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Sounds like you had a conversation with a player lacking in touch. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Pretty cut and dry. One group had all the talent, one dude had a really big hammer. 130
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The holiday season compresses that time a bit and shazam - it’s here! 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Of the three it’s School’s Out that still gets constant play. Four album run of Love It To Death, Killer, School’s Out and Billion Dollar Babies from the original lineup was pretty tight. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Born Under A Bad Sign, nice little progression. 000
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026That would be my main man Todd Rundgren not only producing but handling the guitar duties, including the ripping motorcycle. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It was a three-fer Alice Cooper - School’s Out Sly Stone - Fresh CCR - Cosmos Factory Spent every bit I had. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Certainly need a little Deep Purple, my pick would be Rat Bat Blue off of Who Do We Think We Are. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 07/10/2026The wife and I hit 40th anniversary this past July and she remains the woman of my dreams so for birthdays she gets whatever she wants. Would have urged me to be at the race but then I have to deal with pissed off mom and sis in law. Usually not an issue, race is second weekend. Not this year. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Wore my ass out. All dinners for the wife. Three hours driving for the round trip to mothers and she’ll gladly drive here but she’s 88 so any opportunity to keep her out of the car I take. The sister in law is two hours round trip and frankly, I don’t want her showing up at my front door. Bummer. 110
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Still have my vinyl copy of L and it truly is a piece of musical art. Very experimental and a great listen. 010
JSnow’s playlist roulette @atljohns.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I got so completely hosed this year. Petit is generally second weekend in October so I knew my chances were slim when I saw the date. Thursday: wife’s birthday Friday: b’day dinner at my moms Saturday: b’day dinner at sister in laws Frankly, all these folks tolerate and support my love of racing. 110
