Pong As much as the game itself was engaging, and it could get to ridiculous fast speeds if one hung in long enough, it was the entire concept of “We’re playing a game on the TV!” Which was an unheard of concept. The Ms and I still play together often.

I may be in a very small contingent of folks who actually love the new Honda logo. I kept telling others “I think they’ve used this before” only to be reassured that was not the case. Caught this bee crawling into the trumpet of a flower on the cross vine. Cross vines can try taking over in a garden but this grows on a trellis and has been very manageable. Little trim with some garden shears keeps it behaving.

As some await the weekend race festivities to begin it might be an opportune moment to revisit the 1995 Indy 500, the last before the split with most of the CART entrants not returning till 2001. Penske not able to qualify, Villeneuve and Goodyear both with penalties, Stan Fox. Crazy race.

The racing between Lundgaard and Malukas at the close of Saturday’s race is exactly what Indy needs more of. Tough, respectful, pit performances and strategy on the line, good stuff. Dixon and Palou’s drive through the field was outstanding as well, what little we saw of it. And Bobby Rahal’s kid.

Just my two cents worth of opinion, Apple is giving me the best coverage of a race weekend I ever gotten. To be fair I never subscribed to F1TV. No comparison to what I’ve gotten in the past from NBC, ESPN or SPEED, though SPEED was the first to give us relatively ’complete’ coverage. I miss SPEED.
