Happy 25th anniversary to Atlantis: The Lost Empire! I made this piece for @atle25zine.bsky.social (I'm also a lead on it). It was a lot of fun and I have some fun progress shots to show off later! Long live Atlantis!!

A digital illustration of a mosaic.
It's based on Atlantis: The Lost Empire. The mosaic depicts the crew's introduction to the city of Atlantis. The city is at the center, with the Star of Atlantis above it.
Waves of water flow outward from the city, and water falls off the edge of the plateau, into the lava. Kida, in her warrior armor, holds her spear in her right hand, and reaches her left hand down towards the crew. Milo is in front, holding the Shepherd's Journal.
To his right are Dr. Sweet in his doctor's uniform, Audrey holding a wrench, Vinny with a lit stick of dynamite, Mole with a pile of dirt, Packard with her helmet's antenna electrified, Cookie holding a can of bacon grease, Helga holding her flare gun, and Rourke with his hand on his pistol. Helga and Rourke are looking to their right, away from Atlantis. The other corners of the illustration are occupied by representations of the Leviathan, the Ulysses, and Mole's drill tank.

His proposal at the museum was so cute and enthusiastic! So much passion (and clumsiness) hehe It was great and inspiring to see such a character when I was just a child! <3 I love the way the map should be flipped horizontally but animation logic made it work anyways 😂
