'Pro-life' policies are so keen on controlling women they are actively threatening the lives of pregnant detained children. We live in a state of cruelty and must fight the dying of the light.

Wow! This is some top-notch investigative journalism. The report claims the 3 million Epstein files released are only 2% of the total. The massive scale of what’s still missing is hard to comprehend.

www.reuters.com/world/us/per... An unidentified person was shot by ICE and is in critical condition. You will never guess what the federal report is: This unidentified person was apparently attacking ICE with a gun and so they had to shoot them. Sure. We haven't heard that before.

Another good point - not ICE - Immigration and customs enforcement - they don't need masks or body armor- and they certainly should not be kidnapping or tear gassing children.

The potential for abuse is self-evident, but for those slow on the uptake, simply look to the horrors in the news. We all deserve country that is better than this. A country that believes in due process and accountability for ALL, especially those given the power to enforce laws. 2/3

Masked enforcement of any kind is prone to abuse, due to a lack of accountability and a feeling of power and immunity from justice. Masked enforcement is anti-American and definitely goes against the values of our state. 1/3

NH - Support the unmasking of ICE Bill is up on Jan 28 Clickable link: gc.nh.gov/house/commit... Wednesday, January 28 Committee: House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Bill: 3:30 pm - HB 1142 Position: I support this bill Writing a few sentences of testimony helps!

Sign background is a left to right gradient of green-blue to green-yellow.

Text is black and there is a print style picture in black of a masked person with the words POLICE ICE on his chest in white block letters.

The sign reads:
TAKE ACTION on HB 1142
to END MASKED IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IN NH

A bill is moving in the NH Legislature (HB 1142) that would require any state, county, or local law enforcement officer assisting ICE under the 287(g) program to:
• Identify themselves by name, badge number, and agency
• Clearly state they are operating under ICE authority
• Remain UNMASKED while doing so
New Hampshire should not tolerate shadow law enforcement.
If officers are acting as ICE, the public deserves to know who they are and who they answer to.

This is about transparency, accountability, and basic dignity. No masked officers terrorizing our communities. No secret police.
Stand up. Speak out. Show up.

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Screenshot of an X.com post by The Associated Press (@AP) stating that dozens of immigrant families protested for better treatment behind fences at a Texas detention facility, where a 5-year-old Ecuadorian boy and his father were sent after being detained in Minnesota. Below is a video thumbnail showing a crowd gathered outdoors along a fenced walkway; many people wear bright blue or red outerwear, and some hold signs.
