Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of attending the 4th International Forum on Migration Statistics in Malmö, Sweden! 🌍 It was incredibly enriching to learn from practitioners and exchange perspectives with experts working on migration forecasting in the humanitarian sector. 📈 #IFMS2025

A team @mpidr.bsky.social examined professional migration of men and women in 48 countries using data from LinkedIn. It found that, although men aspire to migrate more often than women, globally, as many women as men migrate for a job. www.demogr.mpg.de/go/professional-migration
