I finished this assignment tonight, I only had an hour to make it happen! This is done with mechanical pencil on the back of a piece of a gridded paper pad. The assignments topic was “dreamscape”. I tend to have more nightmares, so I chose something more positive from my brain.

A couple pieces from this weeks projects: Both are a work in progress still, and not intended to be your “best” work. They are exploratory! These both are tied to a theme I have yet to reveal - It’s a series of an 8 week project!

Charcoal on paper! This is an abstract visualization of the supermassive black hole in the center of our galaxy - which the James Webb Space Telescope had discovered just this past February, is constantly and rapidly ejecting very strong flares! Yes, the same process that happens on our sun, also happens with our very own black hole friend. Much, much more violent and rapid however. What a friendly lil guy!

You can see the construction being laid out in the mixture of plasma & strong magnetism.

Enjoy this goofy collage I made. The cobra meowm was inspired by the Egyptian goddess Bastet. She has obsidian ears, eyes & nose made of colliding galaxies caught from JWST, the recent lunar eclipse for a third eye, a cobra body & lightning bolts for whiskers.

Her underling or one who admires her, is a snail meowm slithering up mountains of obsidian to observe bastet-like entity more closely.

That time around this time last year I did this drunken sketch of “J.C. Jenny”, cause she accidentally dropped the price. (This came to me during some sort of commercial while watching an NFL game at the time I had overheard)

I haven’t sketched/drawn anything in probably a year, & I start school Jan 6th. I gotta get fluid flowing in my hands again! So I guess if I don’t know what else to draw, just do a Pokémon. I’ve started with #001, a bulbasaur. Or should I say, a lovely 🍃 Bulbaloaf 🍃. A fighty Pilot G7 on notebook

Got curious, took a look at the trump guitars. A couple takeaways…It’s made similarly to my 2002 Gibson special. However, it doesn’t have renamed dumbass parts, it’s ACTUALLY American made by a well established & trusted American company that has existed forever and AT A THIRD OF THE COST. 1/2
