I got an ad for a ring that was on sale for $18, but when I clicked on it it was listed on the website for $31. I emailed them and said hey, this ad gave me the wrong price (hoping they’d give it to me for the price I originally saw it in their ad for), but they just said oops the ad is wrong! 🤨🥸💀

The email reads “thank you for flagging this! The price listed on the website is the correct one, apologies for the confusion caused by the ad.”

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate AI. And I do mean hate.

A chat with a bot on Tom’s shoes website. I say that there’s a sale happening and the bot denies there’s a sale happening. I again clarify it says right on their website there’s a sale happening.

The bot still denies that there is sale happening despite the sale being clearly active.

What do you know! A promotion on their homepage right when you visit their website that says 50% off!

The terms and conditions for the exact sale I was talking to the bot about.

I got an ad for Thredup, which is not uncommon, but today they decided I’d really like to buy a jacket that has been vomited on. Interesting marketing tactic.

A beige jacket, looks like a windbreaker or rain jacket type, that has a disgusting green vomit color smeared all over the front and sleeves. I really can’t even tell you what the hell it is or why it’s like that.

I did not think so many people would be interested in the recipe for these but of course I’m happy to share!! I actually saw the recipe on Instagram from “Gathered Nutrition” I literally just screenshot it like a week ago and made them last night!

A screenshot of the recipe, which reads “ham cheddar + chive protein biscuits! New favorite version of my viral biscuits because they’re even easier to prep than the last, and the flavor is sooo good and nostalgic! Recipe linked in my bio and also listed below!
RECIPE:
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup milk, plus more for brushing tops
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp melted salted butter
7 oz deli ham, diced into small pieces
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/3 cup diced green onion or chives
2 cups bread flour (I use King Arthur)
1 TBSP baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper”

The instructions for the biscuit recipe.
“1. Preheat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Blend cottage cheese and milk until creamy. In a large bowl, mix with honey and melted butter, then fold in ham, cheese, and green onion.
3. In a separate large bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients. Add to your wet ingredients and mix until just combined- dough will be crumbly and looks slightly dry. That’s OK!
4. Turn your dough out onto a clean floured work surface. Use floured hands to combine the dough to make it less crumbly and more of a smooth dough.
5. Roll dough out as much as you can into a rectangle about 3/4 inch thick. Don’t worry about it being too perfect! Fold one end of the rectangle into the center, and then other end of the rectangle over it, like a letter.
6. Flatten dough again into a more narrow rectangle that is again about 3/4 inch thick. Repeat the process of folding onto end into the center and then the other end over it. This is what creates the layers in the biscuit!
7. Roll a little once again just to pack layers together more tightly. Cut dough into 6-9 biscuits and place in a baking sheet almost touching each other.

The final step of the recipe that got cut off in the last screen shot.
“8. Brush the tops with milk and then bake for 20-30 minutes depending on the size of your biscuits, until tops are slightly brown and centers are set. Allow to cool for ten minutes before enjoying. Optional: brush tops with butter + honey!”

My first attempt at making biscuits!! These are ham, cheddar, and chive! They’re a little wonky looking but they taste really good!!

A huge bowl filled with the makings of a beet salad, both red and golden beets, arugula, goat cheese, etc.

A small white round plate with five deviled eggs on it. The eggs are topped with candied bacon and micro greens.

An espresso martini in a proper martini glass! There’s decorative foam art on top and three espresso beans.

A halved beef bone on a long white rectangular plate. The bone marrow is topped with bacon jam and micro greens and there’s ciabatta toast on the side!

I posted this on my insta story and the blog but totally forgot to show you guys this charcuterie spread I did last week for a friend’s engagement party (and I’m in the wedding 🤩) I don’t usually do bigger spreads like this so let me know your thoughts! :)

I have seen many a “do not flush anything other than toilet paper” signs in bathrooms before, but never one with Hello Kitty on it. Honestly I’m a big fan, more bathrooms should utilize toilet clip art in their signage.

A sign in the bathroom that indicates not to use a ton of toilet paper at once, featuring snoopy, hello kitty, and clip art of a toilet and kawaii style poop. Very interesting indeed.
