Just think how fucked up genocidal Zionists must be to seriously claim that this man is anti-Semitic just because he doesn't subscribe to their Zionist bullshit 👇🏻

A fan of history? Let me guess, that "history" doesn't include Zionist terrorist groups like Irgun and Lehi who murdered British, Arab and Jewish civilians before 1948 before merging into what became known as the IDF. Take your Zionist terrorism and pro-Israeli propaganda bullshit, and fuck off.

Exactly. Jewish =/= Zionist. And just because anti-Zionists are a minority within the Jewish community, that doesn't make them any less members of the Jewish community. It's absurd to suggest this man and other members of the Jewish community like him are are antisemitic 👇🏻

Was the Policy Director of the Teacher's Union indicted by the FBI for handling classified defense documents handed to the Israeli government? And were the charges dropped because the WH didn't want to disclose it used the org as a back channel to the Israeli government? If not, then worse I'd say

This. Many Jewish people are anti-Zionists.

It was dropped to stop Condoleezza Rice having to testify and disclose that AIPAC was used as a back channel between the US and Israeli governments. AIPAC doesn't give campaign contributions. It's a lobby group. The AIPAC PAC does. Its operated by AIPAC, which lobbies for the interests of Israel.

Transparency laws should be applied to all groups lobbying for foreign interests, including AIPAC. More so, when there's evidence of collusion with a foreign state. E.g. that time it's Director of Policy was indicted by the FBI for passing classified defense documents to the Israeli government.

This AIPAC you speak of that's not acting as an agent for a foreign principal, is that the same AIPAC whose former Director of Policy, Steven Rosen, was indicted by the FBI for handling classified defense documents which were passed to the Israeli government? You mean *that* AIPAC?

The Director of Policy for that real estate lobby group hasn't been indicted by the FBI for handling classified defense documents passed on to the Israeli government though, like AIPAC's former Director of Policy has. AIPAC is a higher priority, because it's a higher threat.
Article about the indictment of two former AIPAC employees, Keith Weissman and Director of Policy Steven Rosen, who were indicted by the FBI in 2005 for handling classified defense documents which were passed on to the Israeli government.

This is one of the reasons many people believe AIPAC is acting as an agent of a foreign principal and should be registered under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA).

*younger democrats and conservatives Whatever you think of Charlie Kirk (I'll resist speaking ill of the dead) this is something he was starting to explore with his mostly young, white, christian, conservative audiences. It seems *everyone* is sick of the pro-Israel lobby's gaslighting:

Here is another anti-Zionist who also happens to be Jewish. I'm 100% certain people will accuse him of not being a "real" Jew, of not being Jewish *enough*, being antisemitic, maybe even a holocaust denier. Why? Because he believes Zionism is antithetical to Judaism. That's it. That's his crime

Be aware, some will accept (reluctantly) Rabbi Weiss is in fact Jewish, but because he addresses holocaust deniers directly, they'll imply he is one. He isn't. Being anti-Zionist doesn't make this Jewish man antisemitic, nor does it make him a holocaust denier.
Excerpt from New York Times article about Rabbi Weiss addressing holocaust deniers directly, which reads:

"Unlike Mr. Ahmadinejad and most of the others present, including the former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, Rabbi Weiss does not deny or question the Holocaust; his grandparents died at Auschwitz, as did several of his aunts and uncles, he said. What he and the Iranian president have in common, he explained, is their belief that the Holocaust has been exploited to justify the existence of Israel."

Like I said, some people will claim Jews who are anti-Zionist are not "real" Jews. When someone implies a Jewish person is somehow less Jewish because they criticize Zionism, you know they have no credibility. There's no such thing as the "wrong kind of Jew" . . . bsky.app/profile/kosh...

If the "National Association of Realtors" was thanked so many times by the leader of a foreign country, that it made people wonder why it isn't registered under the relevant transparency laws for such lobbying, then I'm sure people would be concerned about that too . . .
000
Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 23/11/2025
If the "National Association of Realtors" start carrying out unregistered lobbying for a foreign country whose former intelligence officers explain how labeling people antisemitic is standard tactic they've used because "that's one stain you cannot wash", then people may be concerned.

Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 23/11/2025
When the "National Association of Realtors" has even MAGA Republicans complaining about the fact that "everybody has an AIPAC person" perhaps people will be concerned about the role that organization has in politics too.

Seems noisy here. Time to🔇 But if anyone says (or implies) that anyone who raises concerns about the role of AIPAC in US politics is "antisemitic" don't buy it. Judge every case on its merits.

Rabbi Weiss happens to be anti-Zionist Some people will try to tell you he isn't a "real" Jew (despite his family being killed in Auschwitz for being Jewish) or that he is somehow "antisemitic". Don't listen. Legitimate criticism is not "antisemitic". Judge every case on its merits.

The idea that all criticism of the Israeli government or AIPAC's political influence is driven solely by antisemitism is as absurd as the idea that none of it is. Some of those critics are themselves Jewish! Reality doesn't fit into nice neat narratives. Best to judge every criticism on its merits

I don't like the politics of either of the people in this video, but jfc when right wing MAGA politicians are calling out AIPAC, you know something's up. "Everybody has an AIPAC person..." This is just capitulation to a foreign state.

It's not antisemitic to say: - More members of Congress are receiving funding from AIPAC than any other lobby group advocating for foreign interests. - Two AIPAC employees (including its Director of policy) were indicted by the FBI in 2006 for handling classified defense documents, sent to Israel.

AIPAC is, by most measures, more influential than any other group lobbying for foreign interests. Show another with the same influence as AIPAC, and I'll criticize them too if they're not registered under FARA. And many Jews are critical of AIPAC (Jews are not a hivemind -don't be antisemitic!)

That $26bn is in sales to Qatar. Sales =/= aid. In contrast, Israel receives military aid through Foreign Military Financing. Who pays for that? US taxpayers ($38 billion over 10 years) Those terms are thanks to the huge influence AIPAC has in Congress. Much more than Qatar could even dream of
100
Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 22/11/2025
Strawman. Lots of groups lobby for foreign interests. The issue is that such lobbying groups should be transparent about the fact they are acting as the agent of a foreign principal. Of those groups, AIPAC is most influential and the most egregious. So it gets mentioned the most. Simple.
210
Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 22/11/2025
How much US funding and military aid has Qatar received? How many "state legislators" visited Qatar together? How many members of Congress publicly say "I support Qatar" while displaying Qatari flags? AIPAC funds more members of Congress through lobbying and has more influence than Qatar.

Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 22/11/2025
More members of Congress are funded by AIPAC And I don't know any members of Congress who display a Qatari flag, or wear a Qatari military uniform Don't know any who say "support Qatar" Never seen *250* members of Congress visit Qatar at the same time Pro Israel influence > Pro Qatar influence

I'm not buying that. Even right-wing members of Congress are calling out AIPAC (and losing support from their MAGA buddies over it). "Everybody has an AIPAC person..." No organization with links to a foreign state, should be able to exert that much influence on Congress. I don't care who it is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any senior executives in the American Realty Association have been indicted by the FBI for handling classified defense documents which were passed to the Israeli government.

If someone wanted to highlight the issue of foreign states influencing domestic politics, AIPAC would be the org they naturally focus on though, because of the amount of influence and the obvious red flags, like an AIPAC director being indicted by the FBI for spying on behalf of Israel in 2006 etc.
100
Atangibletruth @atangibletruth.bsky.social · 18/11/2025
AIPAC is a lobby group. It operates the "AIPAC PAC" (which most people just call AIPAC for short) - see FEC filing below. As a lobby group AIPAC, by definition, acts to influence government policy. And there is reason to suspect it does so for a foreign principal (Israel) in violation of the law.
A screenshot of an FEC filing showing details of a political committee. The committee name is “American Israel Public Affairs Committee Political Action Committee” (AIPAC PAC). The connected organization is “American Israel Public Affairs Committee” (AIPAC) which is the lobby group that operates the AIPAC PAC.

Yeah, there's also a point where "domestic lobby for US-Israeli interests" becomes "lobby working for Israel". I'd say that point was in 2006, when AIPAC staffers (including a Director) were indicted by the FBI for handling classified DoD documents sent to the Israeli government.
Scan of a journal or book page titled “Spying on Friends?: The Franklin Case, AIPAC, and Israel” by Stéphane Lefebvre. The excerpt describes that on 4 August 2005, U.S. Department of Defense official Lawrence Franklin and former AIPAC staffers Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman were indicted for conspiracy and communication of national defense information to unauthorized persons and allegedly to agents of a foreign government, identified as Israel. Franklin pleaded guilty, cooperated, and received a 12-year sentence.

The "foreign lobby" allegation isn't antisemitic if there is supporting evidence. Pointing out that in 2006 Larry Franklin was convicted of spying for Israel and two staffers from AIPAC (one a Director) were indicted by the FBI for handling classified documents, is *not* antisemitic.

I don't think it's fair to paint black women with the same brush:
A slopegraph titled “Democratic Support by Gender and Group (2020 → 2024)”.

The horizontal axis has two points: Biden 2020 on the left and Harris 2024 on the right. Each demographic group is represented by a line sloping between those two points.

Women’s lines: Young women (68% to 68%), Black women (92% to 92%), Latina women (67% to 66%), white college-educated women (60% to 59%), and white non-college women (38% to 35%). These lines are mostly flat, showing little to no decline.

Men’s lines: Young men (58% to 51%), Black men (82% to 77%), Latino men (62% to 56%), white college-educated men (50% to 46%), and white non-college men (30% to 26%). These all slope downward, showing losses of 4 to 7 points in Democratic support.

The visual contrast highlights that male subgroups consistently declined in Democratic support between 2020 and 2024, while female subgroups stayed nearly stable.

*demonize women. And it hasn't stopped. It's just in different form. In 2024 support for Dems declined 4 to 7 points among men in multiple demographics when Harris became nominee. Support among women remained relatively stable. Similar story in 2016 with Clinton. Men are still demonizing women.

Which part of this statement is false?
Pressed on Trump’s repeated slogan, “No boys in girls’ sports,” Buttigieg declined to echo the rhetoric. “I think that chess is different from weightlifting, and weightlifting is different from volleyball, and middle school is different from the Olympics,” he said. “So that’s exactly why I think that we shouldn’t be grandstanding on this as politicians. We should be empowering communities, organizations, and schools to make the right decisions.”

A cartoon shows two opposing armies facing each other, each holding flags with the same ambiguous image that can be seen as either a duck or a rabbit, depending on interpretation.

One commander on horseback addresses his troops, saying, "There can be no peace until they renounce their Rabbit God and accept our Duck God."

The cartoon humorously illustrates how conflict can arise from subjective perception and rigid belief systems, even when both sides are essentially looking at the same thing.

The cartoon is by Paul Noth, a well-known cartoonist whose work frequently appears in The New Yorker. His name is signed in the bottom right corner of the image.

If seeing cishet men wearing pink jackets and makeup annoys transphobes, good No, sm =/= society just because it uses the word "social". When people on Chinese sm depict Jinping as winnie the pooh, are trying to insult Disney? Nope. But they are mocking Jinping's sensitivity to the comparison.
A side-by-side image comparison. On the left is an illustration of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, smiling as they stroll side by side. On the right is a photograph of Chinese leader Xi Jinping and former U.S. President Barack Obama walking together and chatting, both appearing relaxed and friendly. The juxtaposition highlights a resemblance in posture and expressions between the cartoon characters and the political figures.

This comparison references a meme that circulated on Chinese social media, where users humorously likened Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh. The meme originated from this particular photo taken in 2013, due to the perceived similarity in body language between Xi and Pooh. Over time, Pooh became a satirical stand-in for Xi in various online posts. The Chinese government later censored images and references to Winnie the Pooh, viewing them as a form of political mockery and an attempt to undermine the president’s image.
