More or less, yeah. As an evolution to how text-based corpuses are understood, it's a useful next step to traditional vector embeddings and search tools. As a tool for work, it is a mixed bag. As an alternative for creativity, it's a cheap parlor trick that robs the essence of humanity from art.

Moving into the smaller makers, @keeb.io is actually the maker for my keyboard! I've been quite happy with the Iris that I built quite a while ago, and it still holds up. No tenting kit by default, but wired and togglable RGB as most Q/ZMK based boards should be.

Ope, can't forget about a note about the finances of attendance! #TFF2026 is a cheap convention for me to attend due to the fact that I am able to substitute a hotel stay (usually $200-300 split) with staying at a friend's apartment. The total spend for the con came out to be $691.66.
