My thoughts on the 2 Directs: -OoT looks amazing and I hope to get it on launch day -Torneko's Mystery Dungeon gets a release outside of Japan and they barely mention it -Kirby Open World game wasn't something I thought I'd want but now I really want it. -Metroid looks cool but I'm not a Metroid guy

Friendly Reminder: 3DS, Vita and Switch all use a type of flash memory that needs an electrical charge every decade or so to keep the game data from corrupting. TLDR: Boot up all your games and make a save on them to help preserve them into the future!

Trying to look at anything Deltarune is like walking through a minefield. I haven't done the "Weird Route" yet, I've been holding off doing it until Chapter 7 releases but it feels bad having to click off a youtube video or not look at anything related to Noelle out of fear that I'll get spoiled.

As you can see, Xbox held their presentation on 6/7, while Nintendo is holding theirs on 6/9. This is due to their core company missives; Nintendo holds fast to traditional (and successful!) gamer values, whereas Xbox is a brand that constantly tries to remain relevant by latching onto trends

That's it??????????? Like new Monsters game and finally seeing DQXII is nice but really THAT'S IT?! Surely I thought they'd talk about DQXI Switch 2 at least since that was leaked but no... man that's a real bummer.

My hopes for the Dragon Quest Day announcements: -Some info on DQ12 -Remakes (not re-imagines) for either DQ8, DQ9 or any of the DS/3DS Monsters games -HD-2D remakes of Zenithian Trilogy -official DQX in English (either online or offline) -No Gacha slop mobile games (they will show a gacha game)

idgaf what anyone says, if Pokemon Winds and Waves has an entirely symphonic soundtrack it will be a top 4-5 generation from that alone no matter how "bad" it is on release.

I just had a thought (very rare moment) So Game Freak made some changes to FRLG like adding the profanity filter and fixing the Legendary Beasts Roar bug, what if they fix Emerald's broken RNG when they release that on Switch? That'd be so awesome, I'd be able to SR hunt in my favourite game.

I really hope they add a way to get the event items in these games that let you catch Lugia, Ho-oh and Deoxys similar to how the Virtual Console version of Pokemon Crystal let you get the GS Ball to catch Celebi.

I hate that "slop" has become just another buzzword that lost its meaning. I hate that people add "slop" to random words and call it a genre, "slop" should only be put on things that are actually bad like "AI slop."

I finally got around to playing Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 last night. I'm so disappointed in myself that I waited this long to play what might be the best game I play this year, at least until Chapter 5 releases which they said is hopefully releasing this year.

I find it pretty annoying when people try to praise some creature collector games by just saying it does things better than Pokemon does.

100

Goodra Spacing Out @astronautgoodra.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

It really sucks to see one of my favourite games slowly tear itself apart because the devs are so incompetent and don't know how or why people play their game the way they do.

My biggest hope for Pokemon Champions, other than the battles being fun, is that all the battle music from all games with a traditional battling system including spin-offs will be included in the game. I just really want to hear Miror B.'s and Mysterial's battle music in a modern Pokemon game.

My favourite genre of youtube video recently has been seeing people react to things that they're super excited for. It makes me happy and a little sad, happy because I like seeing others happy but sad knowing I'll never experience that sort of intense joy.

I didn't have many games on N64 as a kid but one of my favourites to play was Gauntlet Legends, it's a really good game if you have a few friends or family member to play with.

I wish I didn't have to play Misty in Pokemon TCG Pocket but water is the only deck I can play because the game refuses to give me cards that I want and you don't get enough pack points to get the cards to build a good deck without spending money. I hate bullshit RNG that's never in your favour.
