Rumors about “rigged elections" are now a fixture of U.S. elections, leading to diminished trust in election results & democracy (broadly). These rumors can sometimes be hard to debunk, esp. in their early stages. Our UW team has identified the 6 common ways that election integrity rumors mislead:
Infographic titled "Six Ways 'Rigged Election' Rumors Mislead." A two-column table pairs six labeled categories with descriptions. The first three categories are:

No Evidence: The rumor is entirely unsubstantiated. There's no evidence to support the rumor.

Fake/False Evidence: The rumor is based on fake or synthetic evidence (e.g. AI-generated content), manipulated evidence, or false witness testimony.

Misinterpreted Evidence: This rumor is based upon real evidence that has been misinterpreted or intentionally mischaracterized to create a false impression.

A black banner then introduces the final three categories: "Real Evidence, Real Voting Issue, False Narrative."

Exaggerated Impact: The rumor centers on a real issue with voting but falsely insinuates or exaggerates impact on election results.

Ignored Remedies: The rumor centers on a real issue with voting but ignores and/or obscures the remedies that would address this problem

False Blame: The rumor centers on a real issue with voting but either falsely attributes intent for an accidental issue or places blame on an innocent party.

So this is real incident, twisted into a false narrative in three ways: (1) intent: the motivation for discarding mail had nothing to w/ the election; (2) exaggerated impact: the discarded ballots aren't enough to affect outcomes; (3) ignored remedies: affected voters could get replacement ballots.

The problem: axion dark matter is a fascinating hypothetical, but how do we tell whether our data points to it? One check is looking at imprints axions leave on light in the early universe, which can look different from other dark matter models. Here's a great review of axions by Elisa Ferreira:

Ultra-light dark matter is a class of dark matter models (DM), where DM is composed by bosons with masses ranging from $$10^{-24}\, \mathrm {eV}< m < \mathrm {eV}$$ 10 - 24 eV < m < eV . These models ...

Two people named here have received Ukrainian state honors from Zelenskyy: Pastor Mark Burns (Order of Merit, 3rd Class) and Rabbi Moshe Azman (Order of Merit, 2nd Class).
Dave Troy & @davetroy •4h
A warning regarding Ukraine developments:
There is an odious group, the "Ukraine Reconstruction Summit" (URS) network, centered on Brock Pierce, Trump "spiritual advisor" Pastor Mark Burns, the AllatRa cult, Rabbi Moshe Azman, Yaakov Flitchkin, and several others.
This group has positioned themselves to profit from Ukraine "post-war" and held a major conference in Washington DC last September.
This is the same network of people who funded the "Don Colossus" gold statue of Trump at his
Doral Club.
Loomer met with Rabbi Azman yesterday. Brock Pierce is building a replica of a "school" building in DC in Anatevka, near Kyiv, with this group. Be very cautious when trying to assess motives and relationships when evaluating this network. It's not about victory for Ukraine — it's about accruing future power.

Counterpoint: the fact that measles cases are exploding is a sign that parents need to stand up locally and say no MAHA bullshit in our schools. MAHA recognizes itself as a political constituency and ppl advocating for basic common sense now have to do the same.
The United States has now recorded more cases of measles in 2026 than in any other year since the virus was declared eliminated in 2000, a grim sign that the country may be headed toward a new era in which the disease regularly sickens thousands every year.
On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that there have been 2,318 confirmed cases of measles so far this year. The case count toppled the record setMeasles Cases Hit New Record in U.S., as
