i've got three days left to make rent, and i've very reluctantly raised the goal by $100 to afford groceries since consecutive late rent fees have eaten up what was supposed to be the grocery budget. if you're in a position to help keep me safe and housed, please do. thank you, everybody. 🫂

No, stop that. Stop drawing popular girl from new AAA slop game or the new shonen anime. You need to find a secondary character from a 10-25 year old jrpg and let it be your muse, like a real artist

It's telling that men would rather try to invent tech to replace humans' role in caregiving than step up as equal partners in parenting. Telling, that is, in that it shows how financial capitalism and patriarchy work together to dissuade men from doing "unprofitable" labor, like the work of care.

X post from AI industry insider Alvin Sng :

My wife: Can you read our baby a book?
Me: I can just play an audiobook from my phone.
My wife: But then it won't be in your voice.
Me: I can train a voice model.
Parenting hits different when you work in Al.

I FIXED IT!!! COMPLAINING ON THE INTERNET WORKS!!! I'm sorry I was so harsh in some of these I was genuinely just so damn frustrated and trying to iterate "omg this is not working at all!!" What ended up fixing it for me was downloading an earlier version of spout that allowed a manual install

000

Aurum 👽💫 @astralaurum.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

tried installing another version just to test, and sadly, no dice 🫠 im incredibly frustrated with this. considering just running a clean install of obs after sleeping, no settings or anything saved.

000

Aurum 👽💫 @astralaurum.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

another update, sadly didn't work. the files are there on my desktop, but when moving them to obs, they don't work. when i install spout directly into the obs folder with the installer, it still does NOT work.

100

Aurum 👽💫 @astralaurum.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

update. I have made sure all spout stuff has been cleared out of my obs files and reinstalled the plugin again. it STILL does not work and does not appear in my OBS at all. I'm going to try and install it elsewhere and drag/drop files to see if that helps. frustrating.

110

Aurum 👽💫 @astralaurum.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

fellow streamers- I need a hand. I updated my obs and my spout is no longer working. I've reinstalled the plugin what feels like a million times with no solution to the problem, even manually adding the files to my obs plugins folder. I'm at a loss
