<div class="field field-field-text"><p>At least 30 men have been executed in eastern Libya after being sentenced to death in secret military trials by the Libyan Armed Forces, under commander Khalifa Haftar, for the first time since 2010.</p>
<p>Human Rights Watch's Ahmed Benchemsi tells Mathilda Mallinson on MEE Live that the executions have been able to go ahead now due to lack of accountability against actors in the region and international actors with interests in Libyan factions.</p>
