Been going to Gladstone's Library again every morning since last week. It's an incredible building that makes me feel 10x cleverer than I am, and like I'm going to Oxford University n that. I've written actual words and some of them aren't shit.

This sums up my feelings too! I once decided to listen to all the albums. It was a slog (especially the White Album). They're just not for me. They have quite a lot of what I would describe as fairground/clown music. Too much oom-pah nonsense.

Ha, well I use the word planning very loosely, it's more tracking as I'm going really and for leaving myself notes such as, "add something here later", etc. I find I mostly need to make sure notes to do with certain bits don't get lost. So the plan grows as I do it if that makes sense.

Oh cheers! The camera is really just a debug camera moved with a gamepad. Roll pitch and yaw. Though I do like to imagine I'm flying, so maybe that comes across! If you're interested, this is my own custom C++ engine using Vulkan through SDL GPU.

Clovelly in Devon. A village nestled within a very steep cove. Saw some dolphins in the harbour, scroffled three dogs, but the walk back up to the top of the village very nearly killed me.

Not open source, but I've been using Obsidian for a while now. It has infinite canvas and all notes are in Markdown, so everything is stored locally as text files. You can pay for sync with android, but I just have stuff in dropbox and don't use the phone app anyway.

Oh shit, this is the origin of a recurring nightmare I used to have! The voice counting down in the dark, ending with a tiny voice saying "Hello", then I wake up screaming. It was this combined with the intro to the terrifying cartoon "Gideon". Thanks for solving this mystery and giving me PTSD.
