Thank you!! All that UI stuff is wonderful, though this is my personal favorite. No more accidentally leaving my poor Volatile Anomaly alone while I’m trying to jump back up to a rooftop fight 😌

The game now refunds one dodge and one jump after an air execution if the player is out of both.

I watched the first bit to see if you had any advice on the Abberant form and thank you for that! I went with Glaive and I’m loving it :) Also I found these wonderful cat photos in the oldest house dorms - don’t suppose you have any idea if this is someone’s real pet?

working remote is both a blessing and a curse because I don’t have to leave my baby behind, but also the temptation is so strong to just leave my desk and go have a nap with him

this show is fully making me lose my mind as well. learning techniques from other martial arts? that’s so evil it’ll make your eyes turn red. good guys say things like this!

hi hello yes I would love to talk about Cradily, a pokemon that I don’t think has ever been “good” and most people think is just a weird plant. But it’s based off of crinoids (or sea lilies), which are incredibly cool animals that have existed for a very very long time. 💜

from left to right that's: castlevania musical robespierre, real robespierre, rose of versailles robespierre, and gacha twink robespierre (yes I’m doing fine why do you ask. thanks @smoreofbabylon.bsky.social for the meme edit)

tomodachi life is a good game because sometimes you find yourself in a fey mood and need to create four different robespierres

and then after a chat you realize that they don’t know what those skeletons are, and you have to think about whether you should tell them or not.

making a little family of weirdos is my favorite part of qud. It’s extra fun when your friends can duplicate themselves!

A screenshot of caves of qud showing a party consisting of the player, the player’s pet nullphase owl Gloaming, multiple Wardens Esther, Oboroqoru the Ape God, and multiple duplicates of a cyclopean gibbon. A spider and a cragmensch are also there as well as some blood.

yeah I do wish there was more of it - the conversations between pokemon like this (rip paras) are all fantastic but I wish they happened more often. Outside of the story you aren’t talking to them often beyond asking them for things, which is a shame.

041

Kel @asteroidera.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

I think that happens more once you get beyond the initial set - pretty much every one I’ve seen since the first few hours has unique dialogue that makes sense for that mon! but yeah sometimes a game just doesn’t hit with you for some reason, I’ve been there.

just think, for only several hundred dollars, you too could get these wonderful photo ops

010

it is!! And it’s also so delightfully weird, I keep finding notes like this that have no other context and I’m. what is happening in this game.

a note from a human in a pokemon center in the game pokopia, talking about how they’re sad to leave their partner behind because they need to evacuate for unknown reasons.

I need to defend Hatterene - she is in fact a weird little guy! Grimsnarl is also like this, where most of the “body” is actually hair. You can see it more clearly in her Gigantamax form, but it’s always there:

Three images of the model of the pokemon Hatterene with layers removed to reveal its true body underneath its hair
