the discoveries: i can actually get some color tone depth in 590 false color if i don't totally crush the reds, and i can revive monotone red images by simply making them black and white. standish-hickey SRA and humboldt redwoods, x-pro 1, 590nm, stupid soft ttartisan AF lens i hate.

“no silver bullet” is one of those ideas which has poisoned the discourse around programming. You can dismiss any process improvement by just saying there’s no silver bullet. I don’t think I’ve ever read a comment which reminds us of this fact that was worth reading.
