I just bought my last pack of maple Oreos today. I leave Victoria BC in less than a week and I am extremely sad. Although, I am excited to go to Germany, I do not want to leave my little community that I've got here. 😭

Gordon Scott wrote I once almost choked to death while eating food. I did my own research and discovered that I am not alone. Thousands of people choke every year while eating, and hundreds of those people die. That's why I don't feed my kids. It's dangerous. Now plenty of people will point out that food supposedly "prevents starvation," and that might be true, but it's not fair to completely ignore all the dangers food possesses, like choking, allergies, gingivitis, and garlic breath. I'm just saying, do your own research and decide what you think is best for your kids. If you choose to give your kids potentially deadly food, that's your problem, but as a parent, I don't think the government has any right to tell me I need to feed my kids.

Something I learned by the time I was 12. Growing up Southern Baptist either drives you away from religion or you double down and fully engulf yourself in the cult. I think many people go to church due to peer pressure, social expectations, and status in a small town in the south.

Religion doesn't teach morality. It teaches obedience. "Do this or be punished." True morality is about doing the right thing because it's right-- not because you fear hell or want heaven.

I didn't drink the white russian, I don't really drink but I thought it was cool that they were serving them, of course they would. Apparently the Vic theater does this every 4/20. I love repertory theaters. The Vic theater is all volunteer, and they are very nice.
