(3/3) To be fair, I struggled a lot with all of the 3D software. I don't think there is one software that was easy for me to learn. That's probably the reason why change feels so difficult and why I resist so much. Well, it is what it is. So I guess we will start the #blender adventure for real now.

Updating the forest pack was tricky, and I had to modify a lot of meshes, especially all the trees, so that they work with the wind settings now. Super happy I did it, though. It's just so much nicer when everything wiggles around a bit, isn't it? 😌 #gamedev #gameassets #unity

I still have meshes to modify so that the wind works properly, but so far, I am super happy with how this behaves now! The gradient mask was not working properly before, causing larger meshes to deform in unpleasant ways. It was impossible to control. That is all sorted out now!🎉 #gamedev #unity #3D

After many hours, I got my wind mask working as I wanted it to. It will now be possible to shift a gradient from the top to the bottom of the mesh. The gradient can also be changed in contrast, making it possible to fine-tune where the wind starts to affect the mesh. #gamedev #unity #shadergraph #3D

Adding material options to change things like saturation, alpha clipping threshold, contrast, etc. There will also be wind FINALLY! In the Unity asset store, everything is set up already with prefabs, shaders, etc. But that has no value for e.g., #godot users. I do wanna make all of my asset packs more accessible and improve their quality. Learning more about your perspective and use cases would help me with that. (2/3)

(🧵2/3) It will contain all meshes in FBX as well as gtFL. There will also be a Blender zoo file for everyone who wants to work in #blender or export everything in a different way than I did. I hope that with this version, it will be the beginning of more #godot friendly packs in the future🌱

Thanks ☺️ Estee’s assets are custom ones. I am thinking about releasing assets for Godot for a while now, but I am not very familiar with the engine itself and would need to look into the matter (how to set up assets specifically for Godot so that they would work out of the box etc.) 🤔
