We proudly introduced legislation to address PFAS contamination, fund lead lateral replacement projects, and establish a well-testing grant program. No one should worry about the water coming out of their tap and we’re working to ensure no one has to.

Legislative Democrats aren’t letting this program go down without a fight. We brought forward legislation to keep Knowles-Nelson alive and ongoing because its impact is too great. We will always advocate for our environment.

The Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program has protected Wisconsin’s natural spaces for decades. Unfortunately, Legislative Republicans stripped the program’s funding in the state budget and allowed the program to lapse in July.

Our “High Education Powers Wisconsin” package sets students and their families up for success by making tuition more affordable and giving them the resources they need to complete their education.  For Legislative Democrats, investing in our students is a no-brainer.

Higher education should be within reach for anyone who wants it, and that’s why we introduced legislation to make that a reality.

Last year, we introduced our “Kids First” package that would increase general aid to K-12 public schools, provide free healthy school meals for kids, and ensure transparency in how much of your tax dollars are going to voucher schools.

Strong schools are the key to Wisconsin’s future. They are critical to the success of students and serve as the backbone for our communities. We know our schools need significant support and that’s why we continue to be fierce advocates in doing what’s right for our students.

This past session we unveiled our “Build a Stronger Wisconsin” labor package to grow our economy, ensure safer working conditions, and give workers a voice in the workplace. We stand behind our Wisconsin workers and the unions that support them.

Assembly Democrats know that Wisconsin workers deserve job security, safe working conditions, and their voice to be heard. Unfortunately, Legislative Republicans don’t see it that way.

Our proposal included bills to provide much-needed relief by feeding kids free, healthy school meals, lowering prescription drug costs, and offering tax relief to renters and homeowners. We won’t stop fighting to make life more affordable for you and your family.

Wisconsinites are face to face with rising costs. Folks are tired of not being able to afford their first home or their prescription drugs. That’s why I introduced the “Lowering Costs, Improving Lives” package this session to offer relief.

It’s 4/20, and we must legalize weed! We must immediately stop criminalizing people for using or possessing it, use the revenue to invest in our communities, ensure those harmed by the War on Drugs can benefit from legalization, and fully expunge past weed convictions. Let’s get it done!
