Higher education should be within reach for anyone who wants it, and that’s why we introduced legislation to make that a reality.

Strong schools are the key to Wisconsin’s future. They are critical to the success of students and serve as the backbone for our communities. We know our schools need significant support and that’s why we continue to be fierce advocates in doing what’s right for our students.

Assembly Democrats know that Wisconsin workers deserve job security, safe working conditions, and their voice to be heard. Unfortunately, Legislative Republicans don’t see it that way.

Last session, Legislative Democrats proudly introduced the “Lowering Costs, Improving Lives” package because we know that Wisconsinites are tired of grappling with rising costs.

Wisconsinites are face to face with rising costs. Folks are tired of not being able to afford their first home or their prescription drugs. That’s why I introduced the “Lowering Costs, Improving Lives” package this session to offer relief.

For more than 35 years, the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program has been key to protecting and preserving our state’s natural spaces. But due to Legislative Republicans’ unwillingness to work with us, critical funding will end this week, impacting major projects and upkeep.

Hudson and I are excited to share that our baby girl Ingrid has arrived! We are all doing great and are so happy to be able to spend the summer with our little girl here in Racine. Our only disappointment is that we can't teach her to swim in Lake Michigan just yet...

It’s 4/20, and we must legalize weed! We must immediately stop criminalizing people for using or possessing it, use the revenue to invest in our communities, ensure those harmed by the War on Drugs can benefit from legalization, and fully expunge past weed convictions. Let’s get it done!
