The house of the American Republic was built for the People. Now it's crumbling: • Constitutional foundations weakened by corruption • Institutional walls eroded by extremists • Democratic roof leaking away our rights and freedom

⚠️ DEMOCRACY WARNING ⚠️ • Congress: 80% millionaires. America: >5% millionaires. • Members spend 70% of time fundraising instead of solving problems • When donors and voters disagree on policy, donors win Who's really in charge? (Hint: Not you)

"The appointment of magistrates by lot is democratical and the election is oligarchical." Aristotle For most of history, people knew this to be true. Athens used sortition to fill most offices. Venice used it for 500+ years. Time to bring it back. Time for #DemocracybyAssembly #DxA

5/5 It's time to make Citizens Assemblies the new paradigm of self-governance. We're calling for a CA in every state, and a People's Constitutional Convention. Because the test of a democracy isn't whether the people vote, but whether the people rule. #DemocracyByAssembly #DxA #CitizensAssemblies
