I think the solution is to pass Medicare for all but with a specific provision in the law that mandates that the government can't restrict any treatments for any condition that has been approved by at least the majority of experts like the AMA and other major professional organizations.

The single biggest thing that made it so transphobe bullshit rolls off my back was the court hearing I had to do to change my name and birth certificate. Something about surviving the interrogation by the judge and hearing her state that my state accepted who I am made the hate feel like weak noise.
