A few months ago I froze in an aisle at the grocery store like I was lost. Couldn't remember why I was there. Someone asked me if I was ok and all I could muster was "my executive is not functioning". Today I told someone "my attention is in deficit". Accurate portrayal of the dissertation process.

@gregleding.bsky.social is there a limit to the number of bills that can be proposed each session or by one legislator? Sans appropriation. IMO -it seems like there are so many bills that never get seen or discussed but are good. And several that get rammed through with little/no discussion/debate.

Yes! Same feelings when someone asks "what book goes with XYZ activity... What is the purpose of the lesson? What should learners know or be able to do at the end? Lesson planning requires you to start at the end. What's the point...then plan from there.
