What if I called this dumb Duellum story Dissidia Memoria, even though I already have another story project known as Memoria because it's actually perfect and I'd sooner rename the other project just to be able to call this one Dissidia Memoria? What if I did that?

(I know the odds are higher right now, but still...!) Also still x2, I'm sadly in it for the story, setting visuals, lore and characters, which means... while there is dopamine here, there's also... ... still progress to be made anyway... 🫠

Can I just say it was kind of magical when I got him too? Like, actively, a wish was made; the eyes were closed, there was a "please" whispered under the breath, etc. Previous times, I didn't do it, then the one time I do...

A preview of a journal spread. The left page takes on a standard journaling look with various papers, stickers, etc. of predominantly black, pink, purple and white, the theming being very floral. The right page, lined with tabs to frame and hold a photo, has the work in progress from the other day on display.

The original work in progress alt text:
A work in progress depicting Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine) from Angels of Music (a Phantom of the Opera-inspired AU) sharing a tender moment on a snowy night. Donning his signature mantle as le Comte d'Écarlate, Kuja shares this article of clothing with Sal, its left side draped over her left shoulder, as he places a lingering kiss upon her cheek. His fingers framing her chin, his right hand seems to tilt her face just a little closer to him. Sal accepts him, smiling gently.

No, no. I rise from the Internet void once more and spit in the face of the dumb BS of today with this reminder: They. #ffix #kuja #oc #ocxcanon #🌌🌹💜

A piece from a while back depicting Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine) standing in Fields Of Gold (thanks, Sting) sharing a tender moment together. Both are donning white, Kuja's suit is decorated in gold accents while Sal's dress features floral ornamentation; a golden sunrise or sunset (up to you) casts all in a gentle and almost heavenly light.

An old scrappy little bit from a while back depicting Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine) watching a fireworks display unfold over a body of water, a nondescript city looming in the background. The piece is a combination of haphazardly photoshopped stock imagery and sketching with some toning.

Another piece (and long abandoned WIP) from a while ago featuring Kuja (Final Fantasy IX,) Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine) and Chaku (another OC - the tiny cat - from Anthology of Anon) asleep in a rather large and luxurious bed with a great number of pillows strewn about them, the morning hours creeping in - just in time to unveil a rather touching scene.

Kicking off Tanabata with a starry (kind of) and wishful (absolutely) 🌌🌹💜 comfort pack today. 🌟 #ff9 #ffix #kuja #oc #ocxcanon #🌌🌹💜

An old piece featuring Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine.) They are placed in a field of white flowers under a night sky, full of stars, including a handful of shooting stars. Petals and presumably fireflies drift through the air, their hair caught in the breeze. Sal embraces Kuja from behind, Kuja placing his hand over Sal's while staring into the distance, smiling softly.

Another old piece, a long abandoned work in progress, featuring Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine.) Cast against a dawn sky, Sal appears to sit in front of or in Kuja's lap, her gaze gentle and warm, one of her Ethereal (a special entity/existence in Anthology of Anon) wings out as Kuja places a kiss upon her shoulder blade, his face and her back aglow in Ethereal light.

An piece featuring Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) and Sal (an OC from Anthology of Anon, a personal series of mine.) They lay together presumably upon a bed dressed in white sheets, a sheer curtain framing a window view depicting abstract lights beyond it placed in the background. Sal lays on her back, gazing up at Kuja with arms placed around him as Kuja returns her gaze while laying mostly on his side, leaning over her, his arms cradling her in some likeness.

It still blows me away how freaking deep and far back the lore for Angels of Music goes (and continues to,) given that it initially was just like... Phantom of the Opera inspired. A Phantom of the Opera AU and More? More like More AU and a Phantom of the Opera.
