I think it went well! Had good rapport with the manager there and I think I absolutely nailed like four of the five questions. I think I answered the fifth one soundly, but perhaps less confidently. Either way, I will know next week. Thanks for the kind words and shit =w=

I have an interview today and I am positive I am going to nail it, but send me your good vibes because I have anxiety and acid reflux.

We were approved for our new apartment. That means there's a lot to do in a short amount of time. May need to just keep the hiatus going for a few weeks longer while we get all that done. Moving is very difficult for me and there's a lot of complicated feelings tied up in trauma. I’ll be back soon!

Was in a used game shop and heard this exchange between a middle aged dad and his kid: Kid: (with some stank on it) Game…𝘤𝘶𝘣𝘦???? Dad: (crestfallen) Aw, why’d you have to say it like that? Kid: The controller is so weird Dad: Yeah? Look at the Dreamcast Kid: (practically dead) Oh. My. God.

Youtube algorithm is wild now. If my doctor ripped ass that bad, don't put me on oxygen, just reschedule me. No way I'm explaining that one to insurance and they'll believe me.

Yeah that's true, MechaGodzilla II did some things in the game that were sort of more like the original MG. Kiryu was in Save the Earth also, which I played way more than Destroy All Monsters -- I was curious if they'd bring some of those characters over. Maybe they'll remaster that one later

Ash Axle 🦊🏳️‍⚧️🎮 @ashaxle.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

The demo was only Heisei Godzilla and King Ghidorah in Seattle. I did notice from their art/restricted character selection that they’ve replaced MechaGodzilla II with the original MechaGodzilla - uncertain if there’s any other big changes like that.

I played against @emikasumi.live and @brynholdon.bsky.social and stomped them pretty soundly by accessing the ancient knowledge of 2002 Ashy It was one to one in terms of gameplay and the visual changes seemed good in terms of matching the old art direction while modernizing the graphics

When I heard K.K. Slider playing Take on Me at the PAX food truck alley, I was not expecting it to be coming out of the Red Bull Batmobile Tumbler thing (which had opened and transformed into some kind of DJ booth???)

Spent the last few days at PAX West and had a really good time! I got to play the Ace Combat 8 and the Godzilla Melee demo too! Had a lovely time with everyone!!! Did you spot me skulking around in my fox ears and goggles? Pretty sure I am in some peoples’ videos and in the background of GDQ lmao

Regardless, I am not sure when I will get around to it. Thanks for being patient with me and understanding. Been some good stuff and some rough stuff out here.

Ash Axle 🦊🏳️‍⚧️🎮 @ashaxle.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

There's been a lot going on out here. Been pondering and delaying next stream because I said it would be the last one as affiliate. Was thinking of drumming it up, but honestly if it's a wet fart normal nothing special stream that would be really funny. Still gotta reprogram the redeems though.

I passed my certification test for that thing I've been studying! This will open up a lot of opportunities for me, so hopefully I can find a good job with this.

2120

Ash Axle 🦊🏳️‍⚧️🎮 @ashaxle.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Redeems will be a custom point system and I'll do my best to make it intuitive and simple, but ultimately it WILL be less intuitive On the bright side, you'll get 3 more minutes of Ashy per hour, which is important and good

030

Ash Axle 🦊🏳️‍⚧️🎮 @ashaxle.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Admittedly, the one thing I will really miss the most is emotes. I have a lot of good emotes from friends and ones that I made - I will have to set them up on BetterTTV and FFZ

I am going to do one last affiliate stream - let everyone blow all their channel points before I disable them - maybe today with art prompts?? I hate ads on my streams and I hate Twitch, honestly You'll be able to support me on Ko-Fi without giving a horrible company fractions of pennies

I’ve got no words for this. Absolutely disgusting. I am dropping affiliate. I’ll have to reprogram my redeems to work off my own points system and Ko-Fi.

Twitch now has AI training- this new thing is on by DEFAULT You can opt out here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... Some people are saying this setting is only on desktop Opt out even if you don’t stream! If you have a secondary channel for a stream bot - opt out there too!

Did you know that you can force ALT text for posting? Go to Setting > then accessibility > check the box for "require alt text before posting" This way you'll never forget because you literally won't be able to post without it. It's a minor thing that helps a lot of people.
