Remember when King Neptune AI slopped his hundreds of awful burgers in seconds and SpongeBob painstakingly made one delicious burger by hand

Idk man maybe I'm just tired of the pessimism, so this is just a reminder for myself as to why I stay off the internet nowadays regarding game announcements/discourse. I'm so much happier enjoying life and touching grass every day rather than going crazy inside an echo chamber of negativity lol.

I'm not going to play all of these games, but I still recognize that Nintendo is killing it right now. They have so much variety to offer to such a wide audience. To complain a direct isn't good unless Nintendo announces 99 games that all appeal to your specific taste is completely unrealistic.

151

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Not to mention games about to release, like Fire Emblem. I've been saying this for years but I genuinely think 98% of people's standards for what constitutes a "good" Nintendo Direct are outrageously disproportionate. Put things in perspective: there was so much shown off today to look forward to.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

On top of confirmations that the following games will be on NS2: 1. Monster Hunter Wilds + New DLC 2. Final Fantasy VII Revelations 3. Witcher 3 Remastered + New DLC 4. New Tomb Raider Remake 5. Mega Man Dual Override 6. Persona 4 Revival And yet somehow, this wasn't a "good" direct???

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

So to recap: 1. Ocarina of Time remake 2. New Metroid Game 3. New Kirby Game 4. Pikmin 4 NS2 edition 5. Free Star Fox Update 6. Star Fox Adventures on NSO 7. Hyrule Warriors NS2 Edition 8. Xenoblade 3 new mode/hero 9. Free Mario Kart World Update 10. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort 11. Yokai Watch 2

You're all contractually obligated to read this comment Rob Paulsen made on a Tim Curry interview in 2025

Rob Paulsen - Voice Actor

I had the remarkable privilege to work with Tim a few dozen times.
Kind, generous, playful, naughty and a TOTAL pro. A couple years ago, at NY Comic Con, I was in the green room having lunch and Tim
came in in his chair. Of course, I was aware of his stroke, so l walked over knelt down and said, "Tim! It's Rob Paulsen. We
worked together on..." he looked me and said, "I know who you are,
you fucking wanker." It was like a blessing from the Pope. Utterly
unique. Unstoppable. A total star.

Man, it really is so surreal just how much the internet has devolved from what it used to be. Got into one of those rabbit holes again where I was reflecting on how things used to be, the channels/people I was/still am a fan of, etc. So much has changed.

It's been a looooooooong summer so far and it's not even over yet lol. I intend to stream later today (hopefully) so I can get back into the swing of things.

"a goofy movie": a humble title. why it's not even necessarily "the" goofy movie. we simply, respectfully offer you this story for your consideration "doug's 1st movie": the hubris of icarus. the unbridled audacity to imply that this is only the 1st chapter of the Doug Cinematic Universe. pathetic

Very sad to hear of Tom Kane's passing, but I'm grateful he was able to reunite with the girls one last time before leaving us. Professor Utonium is still to this day one of the best parent characters in all of media, and the life and humor Tom brought to the character is unmatched.

NEW VIDEO! The Powerpuff Girls' 2016 Reboot premiered 10 years ago this month. It lasted 119 episodes and spawned multiple crossovers, but is it better than you remember? no. youtu.be/y8W4ipzo8Kc?... Likes and shares appreciated!

Update: there are 10 copyright claims on the video; if I appeal two at a time and I receive a response back every day this week, they'll all be cleared on Friday. I guess I shall see how this goes...

My review compilation of PPG Season 3 is uploading to YouTube right now as I write this; waiting in anticipation to see how bad the copyright detection goes for this one 😬

Another PPGS3 update: Tonight I will have finished editing the last of my audio, and so I will only have 5 episodes left in the video to edit. I am hoping to get the entire thing done by Wednesday!

161

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

PPG Season 3 is going amazing right now; I've edited every episode from Fallen Arches through Ploys R Us and expect to get two more episodes done tonight. I am so determined to get this video out on my channel's 10 year anniversary.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

Editing of the PPG Season 3 video is under way! So far I have gone through and placed my avatars for the first 3 hours of the video. Currently I have 20 of the 24 episodes recorded and ready for editing, with the last 4 getting done relatively soon. Video is likely to be between 4.5 and 5 hours.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Haven't updated in a bit so let me fill you all in. As of now, my review on the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour Trilogy is finished. My reviews on every Jimmy/Timmy video game is 85% complete, and I've written 20 out of 24 PPG Season 3 episode scripts. Just 4 more to go!

152

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 24/01/2026

I am now finished writing 16 out of 24 episodes for season 3--that's 66% baybeeeeeeeeee

260

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 22/01/2026

As of today, I have written 14 out of 24 episode reviews for my Powerpuff Girls season 3 review video. Needless to say I'm on a roll, which is something I was never able to say for season 2. I don't know how I'm doing it, but I'm not going to complain!

1111

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

Might stream in a few hours. Haven't decided if I'm going to continue playing Titans of the Tide or one of the last few games I need to record for my Jimmy Timmy video.

050

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

As of yesterday my PPG3 script is now 33% done. I am proud of the progress I've made thus far, but I'm losing focus on the Jimmy Timmy videos. Doing my best to balance them, got 3 games left for JT then I can record my audio for that. Also gotta finish editing the Power Hours review this month too.

150

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

As of now, my PPG Season 3 script is 25% completed! 6 episodes down, 18 to go!

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 11/01/2026

So far the copyright battle has been going okay. I've managed to get 4 of the claims appealed so far, with many more to go. Honestly I'm more frustrated than I was when I made my community post because despite having 2 of my claims already appealed, my entire second wave of disputes was rejected.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 11/01/2026

Well, it's a new year--maybe I'll post on here more than I did in 2025. Honestly getting away from social media in general was great for a while, but I think I'd like to share more here on Bluesky going forward.

My PPG Season 2 video will be 5 hours and 45 seconds. Just finished editing the last episode, now to format everything, add music, and do the final touch-ups.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

For the record, I am okay. Other friends of mine affected by this are not. I feel for them more than my own at the moment. Since I know some will ask: Yes, Pieguy and I are still friends, this has nothing to do with him. I just needed to vent my frustrations out to the void for a moment here.

I'll never understand how somebody can be so willing to just throw away years of friendship for no rational reason at all. Like you invested all this time into this bond and you're just willing throw it away like it meant nothing this whole time? Unbelievable. How can you live with yourself?

391

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

Still hard at work on it; doesn't look like it'll be done before the end of this month so it's probably going to release in September at this rate.

Trying to get better at walking every day like I did last year, so I went for a walk this morning for about 25 mins and did some brainstorming. I figured out how I'd want to cover a video game franchise in the future, if/when those videos ever happen, so that's neat.

070

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

Went to bed last night saying "I'm going to record a bunch of audio for my next video tomorrow" and lo and behold I woke up with a cold... never fails lol.

030

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

Man, I really wish I had more time so I could get videos done faster--it does suck that I've got so much going on in life between my job and home life that I can't work on videos as much as I used to... and I don't even have kids!

161

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Given I barely have enough time in life as it is, my time to enjoy media is limited, so I'm already making an effort to only seek out things I would enjoy anyways. The AI thing would just make it easier because there'd be less media I'd have to choose from.

050

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

There's movies dating back to the 60s I've been meaning to watch; discographies of bands from my childhood I've never listened to beyond their big hits; hundreds of TV shows that have already been made (cartoons, anime, and live action alike), and don't even get me started on my video game backlog.

150

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

You know, the one positive about companies replacing real human art with AI slop is that I will make an effort to avoid it completely in favor of media I missed during my first almost-30 years of life. I've got decades of movies, shows, music, and games to keep me busy for the rest of my life.

1101

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

I've rewatched it myself a few times too, no shame in that haha!

000

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Ayyy I'm up late working until 1am woohoo!!! So what exactly do these big pro-AI companies think will happen when everybody's jobs are eliminated by shitty AI and then nobody can work and therefore no consumers can buy their products because nobody has money to spend and so they stop making money?

050

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

Having another one of those "time is moving faster than my brain can process" moments again lol--2010 was 15 years ago wtf.

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 23/05/2025

Unfortunately I don't know myself, when I set it up I ran it through Windows so I can't speak on behalf of a different OS, sorry!

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 09/05/2025

Most likely Powerpuff Season 2--work got in the way this past month and set me farther back than I wanted, so I'm kicking it into high gear in May!

120

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

So Nintendo fucking cooked. Switch 2 looks amazing. MarioKart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby & the Forgotten Land expansion, Hyrule Warriors 3, Metroid Prime 4, BotW & TotK upgrades, Gamecube nostalgia, and... Wait for it... KIRBY. FUCKING. AIR. RIDE. 2. I am a very happy man today.

4122

Shadow Streak @ashadowstreak.bsky.social · 31/03/2025

Yeah Sony exclusives were keeping me on my PS5 as well but now that they're releasing on Steam I have no incentive to stay on the console, especially because all my friends are on PC anyways. Switch 2 will probably be the only console I own for the next generation at this rate!
