Hi Irene! did you check if the latest version of Aseprite fixed this issue? I think we fixed something related to this (more probable to happen if an "timelapse"-kind of extension is taking snapshots of the image on each change)

Hi Plunskas! It's actually an expected behavior when you are manipulating cels (like in your example), it looks like you are expecting the behavior of dragging frames (you can select frames dragging the mouse in the numbered header): aseprite.org/docs/timeline/

the cool thing about pixel art is you can just load the entire game upfront .... for this game I parse aseprite files and build the entire game into one giant texture atlas, every time it starts, and it only takes 0.35s

Steam works pretty well for us, you named a couple of reasons we needed it (e.g. automatic updates & beta branches), we're trying to add regional pricing from our website soon though. Other Steam features like "more like this" section and wishlists+sale events/marketing mails help a lot.
