I got a call this week to go to the surgeon's office over lunch. I had hopes it was for an award for most awesome patient that he couldn't wait to tell me about, but no such luck *this time*. As it turns out, the appendix was not the problem, but the growth next to it was.

This will be 23rd year cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. My first, at age 16, was the last thing my mom was able to eat before she passed. This means 2 things; 1. This day will always kinda suck for me. 2. I can cook on par with anybodys favorite grandma

*TW Today on fb I had to read multiple comments of a local woman, in multiple posts, shifting the blame of rape onto both the rapist and the victim. I think this is a good time to mention that regardless of clothing, location, sobriety, or appearance, rape is always 100% the fault of the rapist.

Switched tracking aps on my 15 y/o's phone from 1 where as the parent I only track her to 1 with the ability to track each other. When I declined her tracking me & said "that's not how this works" she followed it up with a "which 1 of us is most likely to go missing". Anyways, she now tracks me.
