I've been playing JRPGs since I had an original Gameboy, and all I will say is, Xenoblade is now without question the greatest RPG series that I have ever played. The announcement of the new Xenoblade game is the only reason that I will be buying a Switch 2. I cannot recommend it enough.

Haha that's pretty cool! I just want a small Tripp figure without helmet tbh

Watched it today. It was.... Ok.... Ridiculously fast paced. Fox was the best part.

While it's true that it was easier to find cheaper discounted and pre-owned games, even games on the SNES were more expensive when released and that wasn't even taking inflation into account. One of the big issues is the move away from physical games which reduced the ability to find cheap deals

Oooooh it's a Switch 2 Edition rather than a Switch 2 version. Well no complaints here then!

When you say physical, do you mean keycard?

Hey kid. Let's get court martialed.

Well........ Let's just say that I had to carefully dispose of a select few items

I had all the issues of STC bar about 4. Legitimately the only comic I cared about as a kid. Until a couple of years ago I saw that a random guy on Twitter was missing 2 issues, one of which I had, so I sent it off to him. Almost all of mine still had the gifts attached 😂

Gotcha Sadly /s is needed nowadays as there are so many insane people where that statement would seem completely normal

I turned 40 last September. Good thing was I finally got to go to Japan for the first time, and with my son no less! Makes being old worth it!

They finally released a small figure of Trip. Now I have my own @spectramis.com action figure. At least, that's how I see it 🤣

Why? A Xenoblade 4 with the world's of 1 and 2 combined, and the inclusion of the Xenosaga world would be epic

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 04/02/2026

Even if Xenoblade, a hack and slash like that will lose appeal quickly.

I enjoyed it for what it is. Loved the overall theme and designs. I punished myself and watched the EN dub and was still enjoyable. My rating is: Better than SeeD

Sorry to say, I still haven't finished it. But I'm almost done with Xenoblade X!

Dan Tictum, everybody, proving that he in fact has not changed, and is still, in fact, a piece of shit who deserves nothing. Why would anyone support this bellend. Can the British commentary team PLEASE stop ball-washing this dick. #FormulaE

Looking at the product dimensions, I wasn't sure if they were for the boxed item, or the finished model. But if that works out, that may be it! My next plan would be to try and jump back into UCGO and place a Tin Cod next to something that I have measurements for, and try to estimate the size!

000

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

But thank you for taking a look!

100

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Actually 1/144 measurements are exactly what I'm looking for. I managed to rip a model of the Tin Cod (and a few others) from the old PC Gundam Online, and wanted to see if it could get it printed to 1/144 scale. Found it really bizarre that the Tin Cod's measurements have never been listed!

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

@zeonicscans.bsky.social in all of your years of going through countless Manga and mechanical files, have you ever seen anything that would hint towards the size of a Tin Cod?

110

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

Oh you made a video about it? I'll take a peek

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

At the moment I'm spending a lot of time consolidating decades of family data. When I'm done I may start dual booting and playing with more still on my gaming PC.

010

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

I wouldn't even call it gatekeeping. More like OS elitism.

120

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

That's rather bizarre. It's the weird 'FIA are pro Brit' crap being thrown around, but from a different angle 😂

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

My Surface 7 is my general go to using Ubuntu. But I have still yet to take the plunge on my main PC... I've already migrated my general apps to those which are cross platform. There are a few bits of concern, like my steering wheel or old VR headset's functionality

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Picking a repo is enough to turn a lot of ppl off. Not to mention that some Linux 'users' can be very dogmatic about repos. How dare I use Ubuntu 🤣 (I think it has a very polished UI and general user experience)

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Valve may be doing for their own ends, but the fact that it remains open source and their work on Proton can be used by anyone means that it is still for 'the greater good'

110

Arus @arus.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

That said, the difficulty comes with more... Niche things. Like putting Ubuntu on my MS Surface 7 (I understand the irony) had some hurdles and tweaking to cross, that would have instantly turned off a lot of people!
