Because it's a popular desert served on a lot of occasions, the fact I'm not into cake comes up surprisingly often. So it's always a little disheartening when, despite this, people get me cake for my birthday. I appreciate the thought, but don't feel particularly considered for my own birthday.

I feel the rage in this post and the only way I manage it is though ad block, sponsor block and piracy (indie content excluded). Ads are bad for your brain, and being nickel and dimed for things you used to be able to buy once and own means you pay significantly more for less.

Had an interview where I disclosed I have ADHD (mistake). They asked me how I prevent myself from getting distracted. I mentioned how I separate my work/life spaces. I don't work where I play. It keeps me focused. Then they asked the question again as if I didn't just fucking answer it.

I don't usually watch movies multiple times. Knowing what's coming usually removes what I enjoy about them. That being said, I've probably watched Treasure Planet (2002) more than 6 times. Disney's best film. It's a shame they sabotaged it at the box office.
