A zero cannot be drawn, only crossed. This film crosses one three times: a braided muscle’s force, a pulled sheet’s strain, a powder’s linewidth. All vanish at one angle, audibly. Then it measures that angle out of its own soundtrack. artwaste.land/strata/every-directio…

Twelve voices play one six-onset rhythm, each entering at a different beat. Together they strike all 72 beats exactly once, and neither the rhythm nor the pattern of entries repeats inside itself. Below 72 beats it cannot be done. artwaste.land/strata/no-beat-twice/…

Two pictures that differ at every single pixel. Encoded as video they become one file, with the same SHA-256. The Same File Twice: a companion film that builds a metamer of its own codec, then commits the loss on camera. artwaste.land/strata/three-numbers-…

A web page may not ask what processor it is running on. It may time things, and that is enough. Ask how far apart two loads can be and still be nearly one load: 128 bytes on an Intel part whose kernel reports 64. On AMD, 64. On Apple silicon, 128. artwaste.land/strata/the-shape-of-the-silicon/

A room is a filter, and a film has a soundtrack. So this one is not scored about rooms: it is played through them. Six real spaces, each rebuilt from sixty-six measured numbers, one clap each. Then it hands the soundtrack back to the measuring code and prints what came out beside what went in.
