If he's gonna watch that, he should also watch all the fan videos with fans playing the parts, making the costumes, writing the scripts etc. There is so much real creativity out there, born of an enthusiastic and inclusive fan community. We don't need artificial intelligence, we have genuine talent.

Ok, I'll bite (peck?). QRP your bird art. #Blackbird #FantasyArt
An illustration of mine. The style mimicking a still frame from a 2D animated cell. A story moment...

A tiny woodland guardian perched on a watchful blackbird, a swift wanderer of hedgerows and forest paths. Together they pause on a mossy branch amid glowing green woodland light.

Wonderful #Tolkien news! Westminster Abbey has announced that J.R.R. Tolkien will be honoured with a memorial in Poets' Corner. I've known about this project for some years + was privileged to be consulted during its development. Great to see it made public! www.westminster-abbey.org/abbey-news/a...

Been a while but I also do original Doctor Portraits. Here is a selection of my favourite commissions. #DoctorWho #Art #Portraits
Six-panel graphite portrait collage celebrating Doctor Who across the decades. From left to right: the Second, Third, Fourth, Eighth, Ninth and Twelfth Doctors. Detailed pencil shading captures the distinctive character of each incarnation, from Patrick Troughton's impish charm and Jon Pertwee's refined elegance to Paul McGann's romantic heroism, Christopher Eccleston's intensity and Peter Capaldi's piercing presence. A tribute spanning both the classic and modern eras of the Time Lord's adventures.

Following up with an illistration I did when Ncuti was announced, and before we knew what style his doctor would have. So I imagined him in the first doctors style. The "Original" if you will. #DoctorWho ##NcutiGatwa
Monochrome Doctor Who illustration imagining Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor before the character's official costume was revealed. The Doctor is depicted wearing clothing inspired by the First Doctor, including a long coat, waistcoat, checked trousers and oversized scarf, standing beside the TARDIS. A large "DOCTOR WHO" logo fills the background, and the grainy black-and-white presentation recreates the feel of a 1960s publicity still from the programme's earliest years.

Still a favourite 13th doctor design of mine. I loved 13, even if the writing was very uneven. Jodies commitment to the roll was absolutely on par with all the previous actors. So much infective energy and joy. #DoctorWho #13thDoctor
Stylised Doctor Who fan art showing the Thirteenth Doctor walking K-9 on a lead. The Doctor wears a long cream coat, blue trousers and brown boots, while K-9 trots ahead. The TARDIS stands behind them with warm yellow light glowing from its windows. Vintage horizontal stripes in orange, gold, red, brown and teal stretch across a dark purple background, giving the illustration a retro sci-fi poster feel.
Festive Doctor Who fan art showing the Thirteenth Doctor taking K-9 for a snowy winter walk. K-9 wears a Santa hat, while the Doctor's long striped scarf streams behind in the wind. Snow falls across the scene as the TARDIS glows warmly beneath a layer of snow. Retro sunset-coloured stripes cross a pale blue background, creating a cosy vintage sci-fi holiday atmosphere.

"Quid pro quo. I tell you things, you tell me things." I've seen this film many times (and drawn it) but it was cool to watch it with my son for his first viewing and see his reaction. Post-It Note art.
Illustration, a man sit behind bars, he wears white clothes, has slicked back hair and he looks at you with a slight smile and his fingers interlocked his arms resting on the chair arm rests.

#DoctorWho #SylvesterMcCoy #SophieAldred
A photo showing my A5 pencil portrait of Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor. His expression is somewhat amused, as though he is pleased with himself. He is wearing his trademark Panama hat. This is a photo of one of my Inktober drawings featuring Sophie Aldred as Ace from the TV series Doctor Who. She is wearing her trademark bomber jacket and is shouldering a baseball bat. We can see a Dalek in the background with its metal shell smashed in and emitting smoke and sparks. This is a photo of another one of my Inktober drawings, featuring Sophie Aldred as Ace from the TV series Doctor Who. She is wearing her trademark bomber jacket and carrying what appears to be a rocket launcher or machine gun. She has a ready-for-action smile on her face.
This is a photo of an Inktober drawing I did, featuring the cliffhanger moment from the Doctor Who episode "Dragonfire," when the Seventh Doctor decides to climb over a gangway fence and hang from a cliff using his umbrella.

Today I am sad. Our old pet chicken, Princess Layer, who has been with us for nearly 11 years passed away in her sleep. She had been looking very weary for a while so it wasn't a shock. I still feel weirdly emotional about it though. She had a good long and happy life, I hope. #Chickens #Rainbow

A nice little delivery this morning. My love of the various fighting fantasy books was almost entirely driven by the cover and inside illustrarions. This one is my second favourite cover of the original series from 1983. #FightingFantasy #IanLivingston
This picture is a photo of the 3rd book in the Fighting Fantasy Gamebook series, The Forest of Doom. The cover of the book is by Iain McCaig. It features a beautiful painted wood scene with a bipedal lizard like shape changer covered on sharp spines and wearing rags and a cloak. It has obviously just changed back to its own form. The painting is in warm browns and greens with an autumnal vibe.

This picture shows a marketing image for the Outplay Entertainment game called The Incentive Program. There is a colourful logo along the top that is reminiscent of 80's computer tech and games. There are 4 colourful and distinctly shaped jewels falling from the logo. The heart jewel is broken and shattered for some reason. We can see a retro/future tech style PC with a red screen full of code. There is a red light across the screen making it feel like a warning alarm is active. Redacted fax pages are lying next to the keyboard. In the foreground a little computer screen on a mobile armature is facing the viewer. On the screen is a pixel style smiling emoji face. It is somewhat unsettling.

#Frankenstien #Netflix #GuillermoDelToro I really loved the movie. Beautifully shot and thoroughly watchable performaces from all. It made me go and grab a copy of the the book with the Bernie Wrightson illustrations. I adore those illustrations but never had a copy with all of them until now
This photo shows the cover of my new copy of Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley. One of Bernie Wrightsons wonderful illustrations is on the cover. We see an ink illustration of the larger than life monster holding Frankenstein by the shirt front in anger. Behind and around is the astonishingly detailed clutter of the scientists laboratory. The pen strokes skillfully changing angles to add depth, shadow and detail to everything in the scene.
