Too tempting to not get involved - but taking the opportunity to create some art at the same time. So, not AI-generated, but drawn with watercolour and ink. The 47 open tabs thing is a reality though...
Pen and watercolour drawing of the AI action figure trend, showing a doll in a box, surrounded by various items. The text says "Sarah Clarke, starter kit." There is a pink, star-shaped bit of text in the top right that says "90's indie playlist not included." The doll has a blonde bob, white hoop earrings, wearing a black and white striped jumper, wide black trousers and white platform trainers. The other items included are: a book entitled "book club book I (probs) will not read"; a black and white football; a jug (cross between a pug and a Jack Russell); an open laptop with a Starbar chocolate bar and a cup of tea (the window says "with 47 open tabs!!"); an orange backpack surrounded by a box of plasters, some Uno cards and a pink lipstick; a set of watercolours with a brush and a pen. There is a note with an arrow pointing at the dog, that says "not in a box because he is a free dog". There is also a note in the doll window that says "hoodie, combats, DMs version also available."

Methinks Rocky is prepping for Halloween already - any guesses as to what he might want to be?
Photo of a dog in a living room, with it's face peeking out from a hold in the middle of a pale yellow blanket. The dog is a jug, a mixture of a pug and jack russell, and is looking wistfully at the camera with his head tilted slightly.

Thinking of the brighter, spring days ahead... #watercolour #flower #daffodil
A watercolor painting of a yellow and orange daffodil on white paper. There is black pen drawn over the top of the painting, to define details on the petals and the green stem. A paintbrush with a wooden handle sits on the paper and a watercolor paintbox is partly visible in the background.

Always love the @samaritans.bsky.social Brew Monday campaign at this time of year - reminding us of the small but mighty power that asking ‘shall we have a cuppa and chat?’ can have.
An illustration of six colourful and differently patterned mugs, in two rows of three mugs each. Text at the top reads, 'Reach out to a colleague who...' Below each mug is a line of text. They read: 'Is a new starter' under a green mug with white polka dots, 'Always seems OK' under a dark green mug with light green polka dots, 'Doesn’t seem themself' under a yellow and green patterned mug, 'Is having a hard time personally' under a purple mug with lilac shapes, 'Has a lot on' under a pink mug with lighter pink shapes, and 'Has just come back to work' under a blue mug with a pattern of purple diamonds. The green Samaritans logo appears at the bottom left and the 'Brew Monday' logo with two overlapping green and orange mugs is at the bottom right.

Among the small things that bring me joy this festive season - a sparkly disco Santa gnome and a cactus with Christmas tree glasses...
A photo of a silver gnome wearing sunglasses and holding a disco ball, with a gold chain featuring a tree charm. Beside the gnome is a cactus in a decorative pot, dressed up with oversized green tinsel glasses decorated with stars and colorful gems. There are other decorations on either side, including a reindeer figure made of pinecones and a carved wooden ornament, with a grassy garden visible through the window in the background.

When in doubt, ask disco Santa gnome. His unfailingly cheerful demeanor never fails to deliver and he's always up for a chat - or a boogie.
A windowsill with a figurine of a gnome dressed in a shiny silver outfit, wearing sunglasses, and holding a disco ball, alongside a spiky cactus in a pot shaped like another cactus. The background through the window shows a garden with a shed and trees on an overcast day.

Throwback Thursday to a snail illustration that embodies how it feels to be here - taking our time to explore.
Watercolour and ink illustration of a blue and black striped snail, painted on a piece of paper with a torn edge, on a wooden table, with a pen and set of paints just in view on either side.

Ah, looks like wee Rocky has yet to perfect the art of hide and seek. He's probably asleep to be fair...
Photo of a dogs paws (I really wanted to say feet!) sticking out from under a yellow blanket, on a sofa with multicoloured stripes. There's also a yellow cushion on the sofa near the dog.

A cozy Sunday evening feeling...
A watercolor and pen illustration of a hedgehog with a round, fluffy red body covered in small black spikes. The hedgehog has a cute white face with round black eyes, a tiny nose, and small pink ears. The background is plain white, with minimal sketch lines beneath the hedgehog suggesting a surface.

Another small joy in life - ordering our latest book club selection. This time it's 'Away with the Penguins' - specifically selected as a light-ish, uplifting read during a busy time of year...
Alt text: A book cover for "Away with the Penguins" by Hazel Prior. The title is written in large, playful white font against a dark blue background, with icicles hanging from the top. Below, an illustration shows a snowy landscape with a woman in a red coat, holding a cane, facing a small penguin. The woman stands on an icy path leading to a distant red cabin. The tagline reads, "Granny McCreedy's about to go on the journey of a lifetime." A blue circular label on the left says, "This year's *Eleanor Oliphant*... Funny, bittersweet and wholly original. - DAILY EXPRESS."

When Rocky met his Christmas lemming toy...
A super cute beige and black jug (Jack Russell / Pug cross) dog lying on an orange blanket, with a toy in his paws. The toy is a little Christmas lemming and the dog is looking up at the camera.

After a fantastic (in-person, woo!) workshop yesterday, full of new ideas and connections, here's a little throwback #watercolour snail #illustration to remind me to slow down and take it all in...
A watercolour and black ink illustration of a blue snail, with a stripey shell. On the left of the picture is a pen and the edge of a watercolour paint set can be seen in the top righthand corner.

My interpretation of Gella (one of Wildwood's cute little monsters on their kids menu) after a VERY busy week working in #comms... #illustration
Line drawing of a round cartoon monster, with wild hair and two legs, each with three toes with claws on the end. The wee monster is smiling, but looks a little bit frazzled. It has sharp, vampire-like teeth and dark circles under its eyes.
