Violets -one of the first flowers of spring Native to the US and often edible (of course check any foragables for your area before investing though) Painted for my grandma, Baba. Who specifically requested them. Love you Baba!

Probably made my last trip to Joann fabric’s today. Definitely at least the last trip for the one in my hometown Had a trip earlier this month for more of the mourning of it. It was happier then. People joking. It’s crazy to see it this empty. Let alone be there as they were taking stuff down.

Happy #invertefest! To celebrate, I’m posting some pics of the bug mug! A painted teapot-cup combo I made for my fiance and I’s anniversary. We always try to do a painted pottery place since that is where we first met

Occasionally I will have dreams reoccur randomly. They are about the same each time they reoccur besides small subtle changes. Always in extreme detail. I have to go through the motions of them finding the differences. I have no clue what they mean. Evan said I should start painting them.

In front of this sun is some green leaves/grass and a wooly bear caterpillar. This caterpillar is very fuzzy and has darker sections at the front and back ends. It is a rusty orange brown color in the middle. It is said that the darker spots on it determine how strong winters will be - more dark more harsher the winter. Some are entirely black. But this one has a lot of the middle brown showing.
It is a very bright and happy and warm looking painting. Which is contrasted heavily by how I was doing as I painted it. I’ve been having a rough time. And not that I know why. Things have been okay. I just feel like shit!

Thought about painting a scorpion. found the perfect wooden arch for it. realized there were two (and 1/2) ways to paint it. Could do cool colors like it’s glowing under UV light. Or warm colors like a desert with some hidden glowy features. Think I’ve made my decision but was curious you choice?

Between refurbishing our house, making a mess in doing so, & wedding planning,I haven’t had a good spot to make art in. Cabinets are getting up. Things are getting put back in place. Specifically the top of the cabinet has fake leaves and fake periwinkle colored wisteria flowers. The top cabinet space has a collection of different skulls. The one below that has an assortment of some of my other favorites and other assorted oddities including a jellyfish in a glass orb, a diaphonized pinkie mouse, a vertebrae painted like a box fish, a horseshoe crab, and a wet specifier mouse. The cabinet space below that includes two glass jars filled with various bones on either side of a little cauldron that is filled with an old hornets/wasp nest and old dried aquatic plants from my fishtank. There is a little empty cabinet door below those. And finally a section with a horse skull sitting on top of a rabbit pelt. The cabinet space under that is left empty since it is right next to the floor. The cabinet is surrounded by some empty boxes.

She wears a shoulder length cloak and carries a huge greataxe like it’s nothing. Especially compared to her short size. This is sketched in red but she normally wears tan, rusty red orange, and yellow colored clothes

A sketch of my DM’s NPC Corpser. He is a Thrikreen, which is like a humanoid bug race. While he can be annoying he’s actually a pretty important group member and has saved us a good handful of times. The mark behind him in this is one he puts as a symbol of his group around different places he goes to.

A sketch of another NPC called the Kobold Detective. He actually was killed in a place called the cartways under the city of Zobeck. But this was drawn while he was watching us in the cartways before we knew who he was. This is just sketched but he has blue scales. And would wear a long overcoat and a detectives hat.

This is my bard character Nosferatu. He’s an asshole. He was planned as a partial use character when I was first joining my friend’s game. They were going into the feywild so I made Nosferatu to join them while they were there. He is a Thrikreen (humanoid bug like creature) with mechanical wings. He has blue and green skin like a dragonfly. And wears mostly a purple based outfit.
