We should not be at a point where a fund is needed to help game developers left behind by studios closing and laying off en masse. We shouldn't be at a point where we're losing so, so many talented folks on a daily basis because there's no room at the metaphorical inn.

Still here, barely. Still seeking a gig. I'd love to stay in the industry but it's just bleak y'all. So many jobs that were ghost postings, or worse; you hear back months after you already figure you didn't get an interview.

The show might also do brown girls wrong again 🫠 I've seen that a lot in other media, where they do black girls wrong too. Give them extremely hard problems to solve, and then make them fail, and then wonder why the general consensus people have is that the show is bad.

[insert longest sigh] Asian people aren't just Korean, Chinese, & Japanese 😭 This makes me think that a bunch of white people self-inserted themselves in Aang, because they truly believe he's white😭 ⚠️⚠️There are no white people in this show😭 Only light skin asians⚠️⚠️

I don't know if I'll watch Seven Havens. I'm getting really tired of the racism from fans😨 The show itself now has significantly more Indian, more south east asian & overall brown people compared to it's predecessors. Yet we still have people asking, 'why are there indians in a show about asians?'

A reminder for those at the back.

A redraw of the i nice panel from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, where Batman snaps a rifle in two over his knee.

He says "THIS is the weaponnof the enemy. We do not NEED it. We will not USE it."

I've replace the rifle with a plank of wood labelled "AI Slop"

If I could get a couple of orders on my store then I can get these brackets off of my teeth. This is EXTREMELY important as I’ve had these since I was 13. It’s causing issues for my gums. So please, please repost. I really need the help. I need a miracle. mxalppy.bigcartel.com

It gets really hard at night, whenever my thoughts wander and i think about how it's just easier to end it then to keep going. It's tiring to keep hoping for something.

I can replicate the arknights style, so if anyone would like their characters drawn exactly like one, hit me up! 🥺✨I haven't been selling enough art lately, and my funds are drying up.

Left: It's a commissioned genderswap version of Estelle from Arknights. His gender has been swapped to a masc/male. He is also african american/black. Everything else i try my best to follow the original art as much as possible. His hair is short, as the OG character had reservations about hair care.

Right: It's the original art of Estelle from Arknights. She has lime green long hair, huge thick horns sprouting from both her temples and ear area. She wears an outfit consists of a mix of dark blue and beige and silver. She has a tiny yellow bird following her above head.

#Arknights

Left: It's my version of Gitano from Arknights. His gender has been swapped to a masc/male. He is also african american/black. Everything else i try my best to follow the original art as much as possible, from the pink crystal deers to the outfit drapes and colors.

Male Gitano's hair is also very different from the original. He now has fringe braids and long braids with pinkish tips.

Right: This is the original art of Gitano, a fem/woman character with light skin. She is surrounded by pink whitish crystal deers. And she wears a flowing outfit that has loose arm sleeves draping almost to the ground. Her outfit has a gradient of black to white and a lot of gray in between.

I wish she'd worked up the courage to divorce my abusive dad though. She, to this day, still chose to stay and never made an escape plans even after the abuse became apparent 10 to 11 years ago.

I'm thankful that I have a mom who truly wanted to have me. She was parentified a lot because she was one of the oldest daughters in the family with 8 other siblings. She never made me feel like it was my fault for being a kid.

Old stuff from 2019. I'm not proud of it anymore, but it's nice to look back on it and see how far I've come💕

It's 4 swords altogether and they are separated into 2 sets. Left is the smaller version, and right is an evolved version of those swords. Their colours are everywhere and a bit much.

Maybe I'm just too cynical, but I've always hated the song, 'what a wonderful world'. The world is not wonderful, and I'm tired of pretending it is. I was 15 when I said that.

Hoping for help, If you're able to help at all, we need to come up with $1k by the end of November to cover SD and move costs for me, my wife and cats. cash.app/$NFrankenberry paypal.me/mnemosyneawr... venmo.com/NicFrankenbe... Zelle is also an option, please DM me.

We have been blindsided by our landlord in that they have decided to renovate the building we're in and so we have to move at the end of our lease next month. We were not prepared to have to move again for at least another year or two. This is also coinciding with our necessary border run. We will be just able to cover the border run costs, but we aren't going to make the security deposit by December.
