After a few months of providing testing ISO images with @xlibredev.bsky.social and receiving positive feedback, we have also switched our weekly ISO build workflow to XLibre. Xorg is still provided and users can easily switch back to it should they encounter problems or just prefer so.

Hello, we are #SonicDE, the community-driven Sonic Desktop Environment. Aiming to preserve and improve the #X11-specific aspects of #KDE. There are already `*-sonic` packages in the Arch Linux AUR, on Artix Linux as well as talks with maintainers of other distributions.

The @artixlinux.org devs were among the first ones to package #XLibre besides @openmandriva.org.web.brid.gy and the support announcement of devuan.org. Artix and Devuan have at least one thing in common: Init Freedom www.devuan.org/os/init-free.... This we like to celebrate, and say thank you Artix!

Because we’re mostly a team of people with a more developer/IT background as opposed to designers. We’re also receptive to suggestions if the community has some.

Curious about XLibre? So are we! That's why we created some experimental ISOs with the display server preinstalled. forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/to...

Tested and verified: the only distribution where the 'systemd-less, vanilla Arch' experience can be truly lived.

I'll sort out the domain handle later. For now, ask me something only an Artix maintainer would know
