T-Minus 2 days until I leave for my steampunk convention. I'm as prepared as I can be but I still just keep thinking I've forgotten something major. One of these days I need to make myself a document for everything involved in prepping, setting up, etc.

Broke the 80k mark on Sins of Survival last night. I haven't been this deep into a draft since spring of 2021. I started writing Sins in early 2021, and since then it has been a singular obsession that has haunted my time. In November it goes to the editor. 2026 release, here I come.

I think I just found my editor for SINS OF SURVIVAL which means I have just over 30 days to finish this book and send it off to beta readers. I've been working on Sins since 2021 and she's almost ready to be seen. I'll be doing panic circles in the hallway while I realize how close I am.

Good writing weekend that didn't translate into +words on my draft. I spent yesterday rewriting 4 chapters, including adding a new chapter and deleting a chapter. All in all I reworked about 10k total, but wound up at almost the exact same wc that I started the day with.
