Saw a Ctenucha rubroscapus a bit ago. Cool moth.

Shows a black winged moth with a red head and red shoulders. The wings are closed and some blue from the thorax shows between the shoulders. It is sitting on a green, iris-like plant.

Sure it's grossly impractical, maybe impossible; it's been years since I worked in nuclear power, but those "fundamental safety questions" typically involve use of tons of lead and water... But why? What possible reason does humanity have to put such a dangerous, complex and limited power supply

There's a balance between exercising enough authority to keep them safe and teach them to function, and giving them room to be themselves. Parents have to pay attention to who they are, what's important to them. Our kids are grown (mostly) and seem to be doing well; we still second guess ourselves.

Both are symptoms of the same disease, a culture wherein women are not viewed as being as fully human as men. It's a supremacist culture - the underlying ethos is that white, male, Christian, cis/het, and wealthy people should be privileged over others, even to the point of being above the law.
