i am genuinely heartbroken and enraged at the news of these layoffs, both for those who lost their jobs, and for everyone left who now have to do double if not more the amount of work while the looming shadow of “am i next?” hangs over them. i wish there was more we could do.

this is a massive blow to the very foundation itself, especially in the wake of previous layoffs, and i am deeply sorry for everyone, with ZOS and beyond, who has been impacted by this senseless decision driven by corporate greed on behalf of a global MONOPOLY that shouldn’t even exist.

TES and ESO have had such a huge impact on my life, it means so much to me and everyone who plays this game. the way these greedy soulless corporations treat their employees with such blatant disrespect is disgusting, especially when things were just taking a positive turn.

but even still, you give it your all. you shouldn’t be forced to work under such strenuous conditions, but believe me when i say the effort you put in shows. you listen. to those who are gone, you will be missed dearly. i have hope for the future of ESO but i don’t think it will be the same.

the heart and soul you pour into this game is palpable. it’s impossible to give everyone what they want and make everybody happy, but i can say with confidence that if anyone ever got close, it’s you. i admire your perseverance, and your dedication to the #ESOfam (even when we complain 🫪)

I want to re-emphasize one part of this Xbox story: Half of the 3,200 cuts are happening today and half are happening in the next 12 months. In other words, even people who survived today's layoffs will have to spend the coming year wondering if they're going to be next.
