Sad news via Toy Robot Video's new release of Guyver 2: Dark Hero... Yoshiki Takaya suffered a cerebral infarction, resulting in paralysis to his right side & even some brain damage, which has forced his retirement from drawing manga. Guyver is, for all intents & purposes, officially finished.

Final Message to Fans

Q: Lastly, do you have a message for the fans who have long been waiting for the continuation of the original manga?

Takaya: I suffered a cerebral infarction, and paralysis remains on the right side of my body. There is also damage to my brain, and as a result my concentration and judgment have decline, while my short-term memory has become unreliable. To all the fans, I am truly sorry, but I do not believe I will ever be able to take up the pen again.

Brushed off some CAD skills in FreeCAD just so I could try to copy a part and mirror it from a toy I got awhile ago. Parametric sketching wasn't the style when I was in school.

It finally happened. NEW Panty and Stocking finally crossed paths with Inferno Cop related personnel. It really feels like the show has finally warmed up and found it's magic again. First batch of eps had a feeling of being scripts they dusted off from the first show.

This weeks New Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt was the most Trigger thing I've seen in a while. An unapologetic love letter to Marvel, DC and Hanna Barbara era cartooning. Could only have been better if Inferno Cop was hiding in a corner somewhere.
