Finally beat Xevious for #210! I really had fun playing this one even though it got infuriating in some of the later stages. The final score is the best photo proof I have but I think it shows the skill enough.

A picture of my TV with the title screen of Xevious on the NES. Final score was 415480. This isn’t the typical ending screen I normally show but Xevious doesn’t have one and the score is high enough for proof of clearing it in my opinion.

As you can see, Xbox held their presentation on 6/7, while Nintendo is holding theirs on 6/9. This is due to their core company missives; Nintendo holds fast to traditional (and successful!) gamer values, whereas Xbox is a brand that constantly tries to remain relevant by latching onto trends

There was some speculation on the Retronauts Discord that TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures never came to the U.S. because Konami couldn't figure out how to market it in the screamoid era of ’90s game ads, so I took it upon myself to lead the way
