Seems like the NPM pkg `atomic-lockfile` is causing some trouble on several repositories (like Arch User Repo), as PRs are filed containing `npm install artomic-lockfile`, and the source is not available on GitHub anymore, the NPM entry is delisted, but the pkg itself can still be fetched from NPM.

Halp! Beside any Apple DFU standard support article: any chance to get the data out of my MacBook M2 Pro? Or get it back to work? Device shows an exclamation mark in a circle and still no luck to get the firmware restored. Other Mac I started the remote "revive" process exits on the very last step.

UX patterns from hell, part 1039: Disney+ allows you to download movies, so you can watch offline. Great. But when the profile with the downloaded movies is protected via PIN, you are not able to watch them – the PIN validation requires a decent internet connection.

The AI itself. Honestly, when using it for mock ups or boilerplate code, it's a no brainer. But when used in a bigger project with a large codebase, the AI feels more like a dev that's new to the company and the project, throwing in suggestions that you have already figured out ages ago.

Meh, Microsoft OneNote is the worst tool for reliable online collaboration. Even when you collaborate only with yourself. No reliable sync lead to conflicts, limited functionality for edits and linking. In a modern work environment tools like this are unusable.

Das kann mehrere Gründe haben. Beispielsweise wenn Du eine schlechte Internetverbindung hast und möchtest so wenig Seiten neu laden wie möglich. Oder Du benutzt einen Screenreader oder die "Reader"-Lesefunktion vom Browser. Dann macht es absolut Sinn.

Updated an abandoned macOS from 12.x to the most recent and supported macOS 14. Unfortunately the certificate chain is now broken, as the OS was not updated for a VERY long time, so automatic renewals won't work anymore. Any hints how to re-init the macOS certificate store?
